When thinking of the beach, I think of it as a warm and relaxing destination. A beach is a place to step away from the world for a few hours and enjoy oneself. Little did I know my perspective of the beach will change. I lived in Florida for a year, two of my good friends Shane and John decided to come down for a week. It was John’s first time traveling to Florida so I tried to think of as many fun and interesting activities as I could to have planned for them. The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms is one of the guiding moral documents of Canada, which states, “Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of the person and the right not to be deprived thereof except in accordance with the principles of fundamental justice.” (Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, 1982) In the opinion of the Supreme Court, current law infringes upon section 7 and this means that the ban on assisted suicide unjustly and immorally denies the human right to life and liberty and therefore, it is immoral to ban physician-assisted suicide outright. Law and ethics are closely related and often what is legal is ethical and what is illegal is unethical. (American Medical Association, 1994) Denying a mentally competent and terminally ill patient the right to a quick, painless and dignified death would be blatantly disregarding the foundational medical principal of autonomy. This would also make sense from a libertarian standpoint, as the person would be able to live their life the way that they want to with almost no harm to others. Research shows that doctors often agree with physician-assisted suicide and believe it is the moral choice especially in cases where the patient is terminally ill and has no treatment options

Euthanasia in Canada should be legal in cases of patients suffering from terminal or chronic illness. Euthanasia falls under section 7 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms as a constitutional provision that protects an individual's autonomy and personal legal rights from actions of the government in Canada. As well as that, Canadian citizens reserve the right to die on their own terms, or, “die with dignity”. Finally, the addition of euthanasia to the end of life care program in Canada will not reduce the presence, nor the quality of other palliative care procedures.

They are both wonderful places to go, relax and have fun with friends and family. The most wonderful thing about beaches are that you meet new people and spend time with yourself. It shows you that the world is not all destroyed it is one place that is beautiful and kind. Sometimes people like to watch the sunset and the sun rise because it is so relaxing and satisfying, the waves crashing and the sounds of laughter and people running and having fun.
With pallid skin and gleaming eyes I was laying there on the boundary where the promised land meets the immense blue sea. The rhythmic dance of the salty waves washed me ashore. My mind was stressed, confused and alienated. I felt lucky for once, as I had realised that I was the only saved soul on that remote abandoned island. I looked up to the sky.

I grew up in a sandy beach town and that dictated my way of life while growing up. For as long as I can remember the beach was my happy place. I used to build elaborate sandcastles in the beating sun with my brothers and I would plunge fearlessly into the strong, salty waves. As I grew older I would face personal obstacles and have to learn new skills and information in order to keep that calm feeling the beach had always given me and for the beach to stay my happy place.
A new day has begun. Slowly ascending into the cold dark sky, the sun glows vibrantly with delight. The passionate colours fill the sky with warmth like the pink grapefruits, zesty lemons, citrus oranges and cherry red. The sea so subtle sparkles preciously as it strolls up against the shore. The crystal water that stretch out far into the horizon gets darker and deeper but stays very calm.
An Analysis of Dover Beach Dover Beach intrigued me as soon as I read the title. I have a great love of beaches, so I feel a connection with the speaker as he or she stands on the cliffs of Dover, looking out at the sea and reflecting on life. Arnold successfully captures the mystical beauty of the ocean as it echoes human existence and the struggles of life. The moods of the speaker throughout the poem change dramatically, as do the moods of the sea. The irregular, undesirable rhyme is representative of these inharmonious moods and struggles.
Summer Vacation After graduating high school my friends Kenadee, MaryKaitLyn, Madison, and I had planned a trip to Panama City Beach. The only way our parents would allow us to go is if they went with us; Kenadee and Mary’s moms went and promised us it would be like they weren’t even there, but to save money we all stayed in the same room. We knew it was going to be crowded because a lot of other graduates would be there too, Panama is like party central. None of us had ever been to a legit party so we promised ourselves we would do something fun and exciting but nothing completely stupid. We arrive in Panama and do nothing but lie on the beach all day and work on our tans.
Everyone has a place where they go to escape the pressures and the worries of their hectic lives. There’s always that one place that you can go to, to clear your head and soothe your problems away when you are stressed. For me that place is the beach, it is my ultimate cure for stress. When I’m there, all my worries and obligations are suddenly lifted and I feel calm and free. Thoughts of living at a beach house, for most of us, bring about images of clear blue skies and beautiful tropical blue beaches as we dream up fantasies of ultimate relaxation and well-being.
