I live in a country with a rich architectural history that for the most part relates to Persia Empire (550 BC-650 AD). My father never lost a chance to remind me of this fact by taking me to all those magnificent historical buildings during our many trips to different parts of the country. There is this vivid memory sealed in my mind; the little me, stunned by all the grandeur and appeal of the fascinating Golestan Palace, with amazed eyes stared at those peerless decorations of stone carving, mirror works, fretworks, paintings and especially tile works with astonishing and beautiful forms and designs. The influential role of those past moments in shaping my interest in building industry years later is clear to me now.
Years later, I succeeded at NODET entrance exams (National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents) that allowed me to enter their national selective schools. Being in the midst of so much talent and competition was so transformational for me. Many might say a competitive environment will be stressful for students, yet I always found challenges highly inspiring for me, as I am challenging myself with applying to study abroad right now as well. As a top student, I always was the first to volunteer for extracurricular activities and especially took an interest into blossoming my teamwork spirits, which I believe, served me well in the following years at university, where I was considered a natural leader in every group project in Architecture courses.
In 2010, I had to take the nationwide university entrance exam in which I ranked 240th among more than 270,000 participants in mathematics and physics field and I also ranked 49th among more than 120,000 participants in English field. These outstanding result...

...that promotes innovation in the framework of traditional construction practices, by integrating abilities of Building Information Management models. In addition, I am interested on researching the impacts of advanced digital modelling technologies on construction management practices, since I believe in the emerging world of digital architecture; where robotic-arms and machinery replace human resources; construction management is in need of a more sensitive approach.
I find the Construction Management graduate program uniquely tailored to my interests. First and foremost I am very happy to see that X University offers rich resources of ...

As a final word, I am confident that with my Interdisciplinary background, my supportive family, my ambitious nature and your desirable program and faculty resources, I can devote myself fully to this new exciting path.
Being only 18 years old, I believe that I have accomplished a lot within my small amount of time on this earth. For me, the high school experience was not simply going to school, completing the schoolwork and repeating that day to day. For me, high school was about making tangible memories. It is within extracurricular actives that I found myself as a leader and honed in on my planning and organizational skills. National Honor Society(NHS) has played a tremendous part in this. NHS stands for its four pillars - scholarship, leadership, service, and character. It is through these four pillars that I have felt myself grow as a person and have found many opportunities to shine as a leader. This year, I was elected the President of our National
Architecture is one important aspect of Byzantine culture. One of the most famous Byzantine architectural achievements is the Hagia Sophia, which is located in modern-day Istanbul. The basic design of the cathedral has a dome over a square base, which required a new innovation. At the time, it was kn...
The occupational study of construction managers has been a great experience for me. I went into the situation expecting to find an average career with a simple day in and day out routine that would only change as much as the location would. What I found could not be more from the opposite. The work is exciting and constantly changing as the job changes. No two jobs are ever the same, and I saw that as I shadowed Ryan at two different job sites. This project took me through the history, training, and a day on the job. It could not have been a better experience, and this project proved that a career in construction management is a real possibility in the future.
Looking back, I completed my primary education in VPS school, one of the best schools in my city. It is the place where my roots for career got established. Qualities like discipline and focus are inculcated in me and I completed my High School with 62.1% which was not up to the mark as I had to focus on both academics and sports during my schooling. During my high school, I performed dances during the school anniversary functions and participated in many tournaments that were held on that occasion .That was the turning point in my life when I had to resist my passion towards sports as hobby and started to concentrate on my education. During my Intermediate Education, in Narayana Junior College, I recognized that my problem solving skills, analytical skills and efficiency improved at a good pace. This was the stepping stone for me to decide to opt for computer science engineering as my career. I opted for Mathematics, physics and chemistry in my intermediate and concluded it with 79.2%. Later on, my obvious choice was to pursue my under graduation in computers, thus I opted for Computer Science and Engineering branch in B.Tech and currently am pursuing it with cgpa of 6.56. I am privileged to be chosen to pursue under graduate education at G. Pulla Reddy Engine...
When starting construction on a new building, there are plenty of things that can and will go wrong. You will start to lay out the plumbing and find that it clashes with a wall or beam that cannot be moved. To finish your project, you must take more time and more money to adjust to the new layout. Another scenario is the owners won’t let you start construction because they can’t see the end result or where the specific design implements that had asked for are located. For the past few decades the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry has been looking for a solution to this problem. Projects would be set back due to design oversights. Without anything to predict these problems before they happen, these little setbacks were a common occurrence. Once building information modeling (BIM) was born, it was like their prayers had been answered. The future was here.
This paper explores what it takes to be a construction manager and the responsibilities of being a construction manager and the skills that a construction manager should have. It also explores what good construction managers do to have success on their construction projects and the steps that a construction manager must follow to end a project and meet their deadlines at the same
I have completed Bsc (Hons) Construction management at the University of West London, and I would now like to further my career by studying MSC Project enterprise and management at UCL. I have made this decision after understanding that this course will enable me to develop a broad understating of construction management of large and complex projects and increase my commercial awareness of these projects. I also expect this course to be taught with both academic rigour and place consistent emphasis on practical application of what I learn to construction environment. After working in construction for industry for almost 2 years, and studying a bachelor’s degree I feel I am more than capable of completing Msc Project Entriprise with success as I have already experienced the rigors & dynamics of university education.
Concluding, to be as effective and productive as I ambitiously hope I seek to continue my studies at your respected establishment. The program you provide is very appealing to my vision of the professional I hope to become, and essential in equipping me with the tools I need to realize my ambitions.
From the time of the ancient Greeks all the way to modern day, some part of humanity has almost always been interested in the past. For the ancient Greeks, it was discovering Mycenaean ruins and composing stories about them. Today, inspiration is still drawn from classical architecture. One has to look no further than the U.S. capitol building, or even the University of Michigan's Angell Hall to see remnants of this architectural style. This raises the question of why does it still persists? Logically, the best way to answer this is to examine the origins of classical architecture, and what it represented then and now. Furthermore, the study of ancient architecture can show insights into past civilizations which otherwise would have been lost.
The demand for Civil Engineers is rapidly growing day after day. Historically, Civil Engineering has been vital to the advancement of society. In fact, Civil Engineering is the oldest division of engineering, since it dates back at least five millenniums when "master builders" began constructing structures, such as pyramids, temples and irrigation canals. Even if Engineering has changed significantly since it was first used in a construction, the essential foundations of Civil Engineering have stayed the same over the years. Today, the problems that Civil Engineers face every day are getting more complex from day to day, but Engineers are always able to solve those difficulties with applied science and the technological innovations that surely
Thus, I strongly believe that a specialization will equip me with the required tools to be au courant with the latest developments in that field which will help me make significant contributions. The MS program in Civil Engineering of North Carolina State University is what I need to evolve me with my true potential and make me more technically sound in the direction I envisage. The innovative work going on in the Constructed Facilities Laboratory (CFL) is just the kind of work I am interested in. I am conscious of the difficulties I might face and am confident of academically succeeding in this course of study and, at the same time, contribute to the on-going research projects. I look forward to being an active part of your prestigious institution.

I am confident that my strong motivation, my undergraduate experiences and my skill set will help me to measure up to the rigors of graduate study. I look forward to joining XXXX as a graduate student at your esteemed department.
My interest toward technology and computers discriminates me from other Civil Engineering students. My intrinsic desire to use computers made me learn Visual Basic programming as I was in the Secondary School. Today’s construction industry definitely feels the need for construction automation and computer use. My past research experiences include these aspect of construction projects. I worked on a hybrid model to optimize the cost and evaluate the risk of projects. My researches led to submitting “A new ...
The world is always expanding and growing. Since the beginning of time, people have relied on buildings and roads to support them in some way. Whether they are complex or simple, they are necessary in everyday life. Society’s constant need for growth is what makes civil engineering a unique career path.
