They care about the experience of the customer. They make more effort towards accomplishing tasks well rather than passing time. They are more invested in the success of the company. They are more competent due to their increased attention and care to job duties. IMPORTANCE OF THE STUDY: Employee satisfaction is the metric by which to judge a person’s feelings toward their job, and determines employee conduct, productivity, and efficiency in the workplace. A high level of employee satisfaction can, to a certain extent, help arbitrate natural conflicts that arise from different personalities and styles of working within an organization. Employee satisfaction and job performance are directly related to one another. Dissatisfied employees are more likely to engage in deviant work behavior, such as absenteeism and resignation without notice, while a satisfied employee will be more invested in their work and more likely to work for the company long-term. There are many different causal reasons for the existence of this problem with employee satisfaction and morale. In this paper, I will address what I believe to be the most important factors that contribute to this problem. (Ops, 2012) Dealing with the firing and hiring of new employees can become expensive as well detrimental to the morale of the company. Having an employee satisfaction score card can help the organization determine employee needs and overall feelings about the organization. Collecting a survey on things that matter to their employees will give the organization an idea of their needs which will help improve production.
Lastly, I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to work on this research paper. I have learned many things about the field I am going into and it will help me prepare for the future.
Another reason may also come from an employee getting a good, decent salary. This not only improves the job satisfaction, but gives the member of staff an understanding of the fact that they get fair payment for their labors. “[But] if an employee does not get satisfaction in their work, they may seek satisfaction in other work unrelated areas. Galluping in the wrong direction: A view of job dissatisfaction The workplace is an environment full of different behaviors and personalities that have to work together to complete tasks toward a common goal. It is in the best interest of the company and its’ employees to work together harmoniously. At times, the differences in personalities clash and cause turmoil in the workplace. Constant disruptive behaviors in the workplace can be lead to decrease in employee’s morale and increase job dissatisfaction.
