As I sit here and reflect on how my education and work life experiences have prepared me for my future in the workplace; I truly become overwhelmed by the amount of things that I have learned and experienced. Like many others these experiences has influenced, motivated, and driven me to make the choices I have made. The good, the bad and the ugliest of them all have helped me to become the person that I am today.
When I think along the line of what I have learned in the educational world there is just one word that comes to mind “WOW!” To think back and realize that my skills in communication, team work, problem solving began in primary school and are still continually developing today. I have learned to value and appreciate the ability

The ability to take each and every one of my experiences and attributes and use then to keep moving forward. Over the years I have watch myself confidence rise as a result of trying new things such a new career venues, succeeding at some and failing at other but learning from all them. Learning the importance of what matters most, my self-respect and pride that my family has in me for doing what’s right and ethical verse what I think or believe that someone expects of me. One of the most profound statement that I ever heard was told to me by one of my directors. She told me that the most valuable lesson she ever learned was that “People change! The things is…its people that don’t allow people to change and to recognize the change one has to fully present.” It is through these things that I was drawn to the career choice of Human Relations, to have the ability to be a part of something bigger than myself in the corporate world but yet have the compassion and ability to help others discover their own abilities and passions, within the structure of the work place is a challenge that I am looking forward to and know that it because of my past educational and work experiences and my ongoing educational and work opportunities. That I will continue to grow and mature daily both professionally and
My reflection report will be on how to teach a clinical skill, which could be done either by the simulation training “workshops” or in hospital settings. Any reflection report is basically an evaluation of a person’s records of certain findings about certain topic or experience
Thereafter, I realized that I have a great deal of potential in the field of education, but I must further my education in order to realize that potential. I found that
I’m struck by how far I’ve progressed professionally over the past seven years. I’m grateful to the students, parents, colleagues, professors, my professional learning network, authors, consultants and administrators who’ve contributed towards my development, thus making me a more effective educator. I look forward to continuing my professional growth, as I endeavor to prepare students successfully for the 21st Century challenges they’re certain to encounter.
I spent the whole night reading about the differences teachers make on student’s lives and how their hard work pays off in the eyes and minds of their students. The more I divulged in the books, the more I pictured myself leading the future of our community. From that day on, I was determined that teaching was going to be how I was going to spend the rest of life. I never knew that all I needed was for someone to see something in me as a student to affect my whole future and how I can possibly have that effect on future generations.
First of all, I would like to discuss what I believe the most important thing that I have learned throughout my high school career is. I have learned many things throughout the last four years, from lessons taugh...
The saying, “true knowledge means being aware one knows nothing,” in turn couldn’t be more accurate. Each day is a chance to learn, achieve, and aspire for tomorrow; thus, it is essential to make every day count. Education is not about regurgitating facts to pass an exam and then forget the material a week later, but instead inspiring a craving for knowledge and enthusiasm to seek information and experience. These are the foundations for which discovery and innovation rest upon, and the proverbs to which I live. My infinite hunger for knowledge and restless longing to make a difference have pushed me past my potential and to continue striving for more each day. The support my family and teachers have provided me during grade school has etched the axiom in my mind that anything can be accomplished if worked towards ambitiously. I know what I want to achieve in life and the determination needed to prevent diverging from that goal. I desire to seek the most life has to offer and never limit the extent of my learning, which is why I struggle to imagine myself at any other institution apart from Penn State
I was given the chance to observe and interact with Mary over the course of the semester. Each time I was in the English Language Learner classroom, I learned something new. As the weeks went on, the lessons would become more challenging than the previous ones. I was able to see Mary improve her English skills each time I was in the ELL room. The first two times I was there, we corrected some of her mistakes on a multiple worksheets. We worked on mostly English worksheets, but one math worksheet as well. I was able to observe Mary interacting in her physical education class. Mary also read out loud to me several different passages that the teacher gave her. However, the second time I was there, she read a book out loud to me and we worked on vocabulary words. The third and last time I was at the school, Mary had choir class. We also read more books, did a few more worksheets, and she took two quizzes on the computer. I enjoyed seeing how much Mary learned in the short time that I was with her.
This Field experience was completed in Palm Springs Elementary School. I wrote and delivered lesson plans for small and whole group instruction for five days in a fourth grade group of my cooperating teacher (Number of Students in Classroom: 22, 12 Female and 10 Male, ELL Students, 1 at level I, 2 at level II, 6 at level III, 2 at level IV). This artifact consists in maintaining a journal before, during, and after this Field Experience. The journal entries were focused on observations and experiences which relate directly to the FEAPs while commenting on other elements that had personal meaning to me. I have documented the impact of my responsibilities in planning and teaching five lessons to the group described above to provide evidence
It is good to be reminded that God created the human beings and creatures after creating the world. Though it could not have been vice versa, it is/was not impossible for God to have created two different places as the abode for humans or creatures and living beings. God could have created humankind first, but the Book of Genesis records and reminds us that Adam was formed out of the dust, the first place for him to begin his life with and from and, the final resting place for him and the other humans until today. It is also possible that God could have formed human like statues out of dust and, not breathed life into them, but God chose not to. I am curious to know what life would have looked in that fashion and since God breathed life into the man made out of dust, what was the purpose of
Psychology deals with the study of mental processes and a variety of behaviors. In order to fully comprehend ourselves, we need to understand the causes of our behaviors and our outlook on life. Habits and behaviors have positive and negative effects in our life. When we know ourselves and learn about our unique personality, we can develop and pursue goals. Psychology also helps us to understand other people and the differences of people. Gaining this knowledge can improve the relationships and enhance our communication skills. Throughout the psychology course I gained knowledge in various areas, and the topics that impacted me the most included: the introvert, anxiety disorders, stress management, self discipline and how to develop strong relationships.
The task assigned to the three-member group of which I was a part of was to analyse the underlying issues of the given case study and to present our findings through a brief presentation. The group members were allocated randomly from the students following the MSc Business Psychology programme. (49)
Throughout this term, my fellow classmates and I have had a chance to participate in a group project with two or three of our peers. The general topic was a vivid problem in a industry. Our class had a very wide and diverse sets of topics: from Styrofoam, to industrial hacking, to corruption in an influential international organization like FIFA, and so many more. Our group decided to develop a project named “Outsourcing and the price we pay for brands”. The name itselves is somewhat self-explanatory, however the problem is so much more complicated and interesting. In this paper, many struggles and concerns, of the group and of my my own, will be unfolded as I reflect the progress of this project.
Everyone has a different view on how they learn and learning itself. First starting in EXP 105, my understanding of learning was new knowledge and becoming wiser. Taking EXP 105 has truly increased my knowledge of what learning is and the process of it. The most important thing I have learned about learning is that you observe the world around you, make sure it is understandable, and figure out the right way to respond. Learning also provides critical thinking skills. Everyone have different ways of learning and those ways are based on four different learning patterns. The four different types of learning patterns are Sequence, Precision, Technical Reasoning, and Confluence. Learning patterns are very helpful when it comes to everyday life, school work, and your job. Knowing your learning patterns and which ones you should use make
As studying in one of the biggest entrepreneurial capital in Europe, I also wanted to experience the diverse, energetic atmosphere of the startup ventures in Amsterdam, therefore, I attended the Uprise Startup Festival in 2015. At the event, I had the chance to meet and network with a lot of talented entrepreneurs, so thanks to the great connections, which I have gained, I got a work internship opportunity at one of the exhibitor venture.
I have a mindset now that is unlike anything I have ever achieved before. I continue to grow in this way of thinking and learning each time I interact with my fellow classmates and professors. I have learned to build my ideas and thoughts around a system of interactive engagements with team members of numerous student groups I have had the pleasure to be associated with. And, to take the valuable advice and mentoring from the outstanding professionals that have been my professors as a guiding path for my own professional
