I must ask myself, can I afford a $1,250 payment for the next five years? Will this purchase affect my other monthly necessities? When asking myself these questions, having a monthly car payment of $1,250 is extremely high, and I do believe it would take a toll on the other necessities I need to survive, whether it be a cut to my grocery budget, or not being able to have a date night with my husband, this payment would not be in my best interest at this time. As mentioned earlier, I know that if I set my heart to this dream, it can be achieved. I believe this can be done through altering my goal date to purchase my Jeep, as well as to save more money for a down payment.
