Besides meeting times, another aspect of the project that Abbey and I established together while creating the group contract were deadlines. Besides the final deadline of our presentation, we both had also planned to have our research done by March 7th, rough drafts by March 14th, editing done by March 21st, and be ready to practice by March 28th. Sadly, as was the case with our scheduled meetings, both of us found ourselves simply too preoccupied by other more impending assignments, that we could not devote nearly as much time to our project. Now, although it seems that only negative events occurred, this is not the case, as there were also numerous positive aspects of our collaborative relationship.
Firstly, both Abbey and I were capable of providing each other with honest feedback when discussing the work and research we had conducted. One example of how we provided each other with honest feedback occurred when Abbey assisted me with the creation of a dissenting view to our solution.
