Recommended: Synopsis on customer relationship management

The first disposition I choose is Psychological fitness. I believe as I start my career as a professional counselor I need to be careful and make sure I am able to take care of myself spiritual and emotional. It will require that I do a lot of self-care in order for me not to burned out. Where I currently work I get referrals that are really touchy and when I talk to the client I make sure I do not get emotional. As a counselor I need to hide my emotions and make sure I do not share anything that my impact the client. It is not my straight to do self-care. In the past I was able to do self-care but with a lot of things going on I have not had time to take care of myself. Flexibility is one of my strengths. I like to be flexible with clients to meet their needs. As a professional counselor I will be flexible with my client’s schedule to meet their needs and make sure they are able to meet their goals. I will have boundaries but work with their availability in order to meet and make sure they are getting all the services they need. In my current employment I like to be flexible with other when working on a project but it is hard when being kind can affect. There has been time were I make time to meet with others and they cancel last minute. Flexibility can be a challenge for me because I like to be nice and help others and do not know how to say “no”. When I started being in the field I need to be flexible and also have boundaries with my clients. If I do not set boundaries the client will take advantage and will not show up to session and will not be able to completed their goals. So being flexible for me can be easy and It can be difficult at the same time. Being flexible does not mean I will work long hours or work late to meet my client’s needs. What flexible means to me is being able to support my client and not giving up on them. If a client is having a hard time communicating I need to be able to help them with boundaries
