My boss 's favorite foods are; Pizza, HamburgersSports & Money, the Great Divide Have you ever had dreams of being a mega sports star or the savior of your family? I have, and this is something that hundreds of kids deal with every day of their lives. The thought of making millions of dollars and being able to support those that struggled to make sure you didn’t have to. Growing up and putting this plan into action takes a lot of effort and patience, sometimes a small amount of luck. The journey is long and hard for those that commit their lives to this pursuit. None are ever prepared for the lies and deceit that come along with it all in the end. This is just a small glimpse of how things play out for sports and money, and well take a look at what it looks like from the inside out. It’s something bigger when you grow up in the shadow of someone that was truly gifted athletically. You tend to put more pressure on yourself because you want to make your own name. It has even been said that the importance is taken off the educational aspect when a kids has shown potential in a certain sport. This often times comes from all sides, parent, coach or friends. (Sports are embedded in American schools in a way they are not almost anywhere else. Yet this difference hardly ever comes up in domestic debates about America 's international mediocrity in education. (The U.S. ranks 31st on the same international math test.) The challenges we do talk about are real ones, from undertrained teachers to entrenched poverty.
