Ludwig Van Beethoven lived from 1770 to 1827 he was born in Bonn, Germany. Ludwig Van Beethoven would be defined as a deaf German composer who composed a multitude of musical pieces that are still around today. If he were to have a definition that is. He was the “predominant musical figure in the transitional period between the Classical and the Romantic eras.” Ludwig Van Beethoven was also an innovator with things such as the sonata, symphony, concerto and the quartet, Beethoven even combined instruments in a new way. (Ludwig Van Beethoven, 2014). He was vary influential to the time period and is still widely talked about now in days.
Ludwig Beethoven did not have an easy childhood as it seems most talented musicians did not. Beethoven 's exact birthday is unknown; though he was baptized on December 16th 1770; throughout his life he thought that he was born in 1772. Two of Ludwig Beethoven 's younger brothers also survived into adulthood. Their names were Casper and Johann. His mother 's name was Maria Magdalena Van Beethoven; who was described as slender, and moralistic. His father, Johann Van Beethoven was a court signer but was mainly known for his alcoholism he didn 't treat his son Ludwig the way that he should have. The most influential on Ludwig Beethoven was his grandfather and godfather Kapellmeister Ludwig Van Beethoven. He was Bonn 's most prosperous musician and would help Ludwig Van Beethoven to learn about what the music world had to offer. But did not do so forcefully.
Before Ludwig Beethoven 's two younger brothers were born his father had tried to teach him music; there are accounts from neighbors saying that Ludwig Beethoven would be crying well playing the music, and that his father would beat him for any m...

He was 56 years old and an autopsy revealed that his immediate death was caused by post-hepatitic cirrhosis of the liver, the autopsy also gave signs of typhus which may have been the reason for his temper, chronic diarrhea, and deafness(Beethoven’s Deafness, N/d).
More recently when scientist where looking over the remains of his skull they noticed the high levels of lead and believe that another possible cause of death could be lead poisoning. No matter what caused his death he had a heard but memorable life. He left behind so many wonderful compositions and it is actually believed that in the last few days of his life he said “Plaudite, amici, comoedia finita est,” which means “Applaud friends, the comedy is over (Ludwig Van Beethoven Quotes, N/d).”
