Reflection About Books Vs Movies

In general, I thought that this class was a pretty good easy class. I liked that we were about to work with the same topic throughout the course of the class. For my topic that I picked for both of the essay and the visual argument was books vs. movies. I really like my topic because it is a very polarizing topic, people either like books more or they like the movie more. While I was trying to find reasons to pin the two against each other, I found out that most of the time if people have read the book before than most likely they thought the book was a lot better than the movie. I thought that they helped with pointing out some of the things that I might have done wrong. For example, the peer reviews helped the most with my word count. A few times I didn’t have enough words in the writing. In the argument essay I didn’t have enough words and the peer review helped me realize that in time to add another example of authors that didn’t like the movie adaption and that was enough to get enough words in the writing.
I didn’t really think of the rhetorical analysis papers as an aid to the author statement when I was writing them. Know that I think about it know I can see how they are similar to the author statement because it was a summary of what the main essay was about while listing off the rhetorical appeals and target audience. However, at the time I didn’t really think about the rhetorical analysis papers as an aid to the author and artists statement, so they didn’t really help me prepare for the statements that I wrote.
I honestly didn’t find anything problematic in the curriculum for me. I thought that it was really good there is nothing that I can think of to improve it, everything the we did made sense and was explained clearly enough to really know what we were working on in class and every question I had was answered well and helped me understand
