The Movie that I’m going to analyze for this project Is Tammy directed by Ben Falccone. The movie is about a woman named Tammy after getting fired from Topper jack’s in the box and having a really bad day. Tammy learn’s that her husband has been cheating on her so Tammy hits the road with her profane, hard-drinking grandmother Pearl. In the Movie, there are many different communication skills and relationships that are being used throughout the movie. Some of them involve conflict also other different forms of communication. In Chapter 11 in the book, it talks about Interpersonal conflict and conflict management. I found that there are many types of conflict throughout the course of the movies. Specifically In the scene that Tammy shows up late to work cause she hits a deer. The manager of Topper Jack’s tells Tammy to meet him in his office just to fire her. The movie shows all five stages of listening . Tammy and her grandmother Pearl go to jail cause she gets caught buying alcohol to underage teens. They both go to jail, and Tammy gets out, however, Pearl is still in jail cause her bond is 5,000 cash. Tammy calls her mom for $5,000 dollars she 's starting to understand what her mom is saying and gets an idea on how to get the $5,000 to get Pearl out of jail. The form of Evaluating is being used the consist of judging the messages in some way (DeVito, 2016). It also has received Tammy is getting the message her mother is telling her also responding, understanding and remembering all of these were used in the scene.
