It was going to be the most serious journey ever. One cold weekend in fall the three best friends decided to go on a journey. There was Nick the smartest person known to live at West Point middle school. The most cocky kid in school AJ he 's the one you want on your team if u want to win and trust me if he doesn 't win you want to stay away from him. The one that was known as the runt was Landon but he was just a little small for is age but with these three friends they could do anything and everything. The three of them stopes found a good place to eat. Them they went to see what there moms had packed. It was there favorite three Big Mac 's just what they wanted. But they were in need of water so they kept going. We kept walking and walking but it took for ever. Well at least it seemed like it. It had been about 2 hours since we ate and we were in need of water. Other wise we could die from it like every one else. But then we found this little water fall the lead to a big pond. The bast part was the water was the clearest I had ever seen. So we didn 't have to defect it or anything. All of us were really thirsty. We were at that water hole for a half hour until everyone was filled up with water and we saved some in are water bottles so we could have more if that was the only one we found in the forest. It was almost night so we had to stop and find shelter. Or make something to last us one night. So we found a near by cave and stayed there but it was hard to sleep because the bats would never be quite. Probably because they are nocturnal. I 'm just glad that we didn 't find another bear. I thought we were close to getting out but them I climbed up a tree and saw that I was wrong. We need to go north. I saw a little rustic old cabin up that way. And that was the closest point of exit. Which at that point was the best way to go. But up north the forest look even thicker which was not good. There was fruit and meat that would be a good kill so we could eat. So off we went. The only way now to tell days was the sun but even at some points we couldn 't see it. We hit a down hill point so we grabbed drift wood. It would save man power and be faster to sled down. The rest helped Landon out the most because he was the smallest so he didn 't have energy left to use. But this refreshed him so we could keep going. Time was not on are side. The only thing keeping us alive was the fact that if we got out we would be the first ones ever to make it out not dead. It was about the hottest point in the day now and we had to find shade or we would get to dehydrated and die. We drank all the water we had just to fine out that we had a under ground stream below
