Good evening to Madam Sathiadevi and my fellow classmates. It is indeed a great pleasure to spend this wonderful evening with all of you today. Today I’ll be talking about a moral value that I have learned from the movie ‘Take the Lead’. The value that I learned is self-confidence when the polite ballroom dance instructor Pierre Dulaine sees a teenager vandalizing a car and on the next day he volunteers to teach dance to students to give value, dignity, trust and teamwork. Eventhough the teenagers who prefer hip-hop or rap, think it wasn’t a great idea but Dulaine catches the students' attention with a tango session and they started practicing ballroom dancing. Dulaine received criticism from parents and teachers who has got no hope on the kids and they believed that the kids need more classes on education and less in dance, but Dulaine explained them what is he up to and the students did not give on their ballroom dancing and they eventually compete in a dance contest but the important thing isn't winning, but making a difference. The self-confident Dulaine had in him has made the difference.
Self-confidence is a very first step to progress, development, achievement and success. It is the confidence of the type: "I can do this". Self-confidence is the one thing that is much more important than many other ability and traits. If you do not have self-confidence, whatever you do will never achieve success at all. The fruits of what you do without self-confidence are lost. Genuine self-confidence is the indication of achievements. Self-confidence integrates the powers of mind and body and focuses them towards the goal.
Even if you have only average abilities and knowledge, if you have an unfailingly true self-confidence, chances are...

...o them. Where there is some substance, take appropriate action. In these cases, negative thinking has given you an early warning of action that you need to take. A determined and dedicated person finds way in all complexities undaunted by the initial problems and failures he keeps on finding solution to every teaser and one day he achieves his cherished goal. Remember life is a battle, one has to fight it fearlessly with confidence and positive thinking. God helps those who help themselves
In conclusion, confidence is a characteristic that everyone struggles with at one point, but can be achieved by trusting one’s abilities and speaking with others that are supportive. Mark Twain once said, “The worst loneliness is to not be comfortable with yourself.” Being comfortable in one’s own skin is the key to achievement and enjoyment in life, so start with some confidence.

Lead Character Analysis Essay

- As I was watching the exploits of the female lead character, I cannot help myself become amused of how she lived her daily life. For many, simply looking at her actions will then give them an idea that she is not mentally sane. But then it is important to bear in mind that a person’s actions are not the sole basis of his mental health. According to Matsumoto and Juang (2008), the statistics of behavior, deviance, reliance on subjective distress reports and the ability of the individual to carry out his duties as a person are the things that must be looked into to determine a person’s well-being....   [tags: Character Analysis ]

Analysis Of The Movie ' Mr. Jonze 's ' Essay example

- Mr. Jonze’s Her is a captivating masterpiece of modern cinema, while it might be easiest to approach what the film says about mankind’s interaction with technology, I think what it says about relationships in general is much more interesting. The common theme that I pulled from the movie, is that relationships can be used to help us grow as individuals and it left me wondering what of those lessons, we should take with us should the relationship end. As we meet our protagonist, Theodore, he’s recently separated from his wife and appears to not be trying very hard to move on....   [tags: Love, Interpersonal relationship]
