I am one of four children who was always taught how to save because living in a big family is hard and sometimes there isn’t a lot of money. While I never really had to worry about those things I can imagine what it would be like. It makes appreciating the things you have even better. Saving money always mean more. Money in general isn’t used in such a careless manner.
Money is necessary for so many things in life. You need it to pay your bills, buy you food, and buy you clothes. You need money to live. Money is all of those things to me, it is also a way to gain social status for many. To so many people money represents power, status and the people who have it demand respect even if they don’t deserve it. I value money a lot because it gets me the things I need and sometimes the things I want. There are times when money buys me something that makes me happy but just money in general does give me any emotions except for secure. Secure incase of an emergency or accident. Since I have gotten to college I have spent way more money than I have saved and I know that I need to change the way I do things. Up until I got to college saving was always very important to me. I would only spend money on food and occasionally clothes or something like that. Much of that has chanced since I got to college but I plan on turning things around.
Money is the currency of everything in the world and because of this I think everyone compares their financial status with others. I do it and I know that many others do it too. While I do find money to be important it doesn’t define me and the amount of money I have doesn’t have anything to do with me as a person. I know that I am very lucky to have the things I do like a nice phone, a good laptop, a car, a...

...ng money on in 20 years. Money will always represent a way to get things that I want/need but I also know what there is more important things in life than money. I can’t see 20 years into the future but this is how I hope my life goes I want to love my job, my family and my life. While yes it would be nice to have money, money isn’t everything in the world and family is the one thing I want the most.
While I do want to be financially stable when I am older, I would rather have lots of happiness and love than have all the money in the world. I don’t think that I will ever have a serious need for money because of how important saving is to me. While that may be the case things happen that you can’t control and keeping good financial habits really helps to keep you on track. In the end money helps buy you the things you need to survive but it can’t buy family and love.
