Making a Change
The leader has to learn and develop a sound knowledge in communication skill which will enable him or her to build an excellent team in his organization because without effective communication, they will be description in organizational goal, stress, confusion and frustration between the leader and the members of the team and can lead to reduction in organizational success. The leader has to have open communication skill to facilitate and support the change process because every staff will react differently to any organizational change. As this time, provide excellent training and make ensure every members of the team are pulling in the same direction because "The major role of a leader is to guide and lead” according to Wise, Patricia S. & Karren Kowalski (1998).
Utilizing Strategies for Change
Effective communication is a very vital piece in any organizational change; because without it, the organizational leader cannot be able to build a strong team that will enable them accomplish the organizational goals. Therefore it is very important for the leader to communicate in all ways, that is, through 1:1 conversation with their employee, phone calls, e-mail, via web site, and him dose this with respect. The leader also has to have an open door to allow feedback to flow effectively between him and members of the team. He doses these to make sure every members of the team understand his message and they are all on the same page. Communication is very important for effective team-building. The success of a team is often measured by both the cohesiveness of that team as well as its productivity.
