We learn about the Holocaust for many different reasons. There are a lot of different things that connected together through history. Some of these things are, Hitler's rise to power, "Mein Kampf", Anne Frank's diary, and World War II (WWII).

Hitler's rise to power was what started WWII. While he was in jail, he wrote a book named "Mein Kampf". This book detailed his life, and his solution to strengthen Germany. He wanted to create a race of Germans that were very powerful in his thoughts. The main targets were Jews living in Germany. Hitler became chancellor in 1933, and that's when he started his journey, or his final solution. In his eyes, these "undesireables" were weakening Germany as a whole. So, Hitler did some things that were completely inhumane. He started the Holocaust, which the word holocaust is defined as a mass death from fire. Hitler then formed a group called the Nazi party. They started to build concentration camps, and labor camps for the undesireables. The Nazi's then went on to start this holocaust, and cause a mass genocide in Germany and in surrounding countri...
