The system is a SCADA system (supervisory control and data acquisition) which provides an enclosed system managed by the franchisor and used by the franchisee. As well as providing the franchisee with an easy to use tool on which they are trained, this system gives the franchisor an ideal monitoring ability. The Hulk-MMA business is membership based and there is no cash; all membership fees are obtained via direct debit through the system. Financial transactions and membership databases are always visible to the franchisor in order for reporting, management fee calculations and business analysis. This includes the identification of areas of concern so that additional marketing or support can be provided where needed.
