Apex offers many trips and classes that range from 4 hour periods, to multi day expeditions. One major challenge is how to attract both new, and existing clientele that mostly participate in day trips, to more intensive multi day excursions. Fortunately, there are several marketing strategies that can be utilized to aid in this process. These include, guerrilla marketing, the use of social media, determining target areas and demographics, offering incentives to clientele, as well as active community involvement from the Apex team. Guerrilla marketing is a tactic that almost any organization can use because of it’s cost effectiveness, and efficiency. If an individual has had a positive experience working with Apex before, they will be much more likely to return. On top of this, if they are offered a discount, or incentive, they will be even more likely to enroll in programs through Apex, rather than other guiding companies. In addition to this, offering discounts, and other deals based on referrals can increase new clientele volume. Another helpful marketing strategy is to increase staff involvement within the community. This allows for dissemination of information directly from the source. It also shows the commitment that Apex has to enriching, and improving the community. Continuing to build upon the solid reputation that Apex has can only increase exposure, and clientele volume. Overall, these are all marketing strategies that can be utilized both locally, and on a larger scale. Two additional factors must also be considered when using effective marketing strategies. Determining areas where marketing will be most effective, as well as methods to organize and keep track of existing, and new clientele are imperative to successful
