1. Geoffrey B Small, even if he is not consciously concerned much about marketing, as he says he hates it, generally emphasizes on intelligent and honest marketing in terms of implementation. Geoffrey B. Small actively implements the marketing which is a simple and intuitively appealing philosophy which articulates a market orientation. (Lamb, 2014). He is someone who can claim that he understands his customers’ needs and wants and focuses on meeting them with his product. Small, implements the marketing concept by creating clothing that satisfies his customers desire to have long-living clothing from a company that is driven to protect the environment and civil rights. As Small mentions, the idea is to give the customer something that they need and something that they need so badly that they are willing enough to pay for it. He focuses on all the various aspects of his business that are important for the marketing of his product. He focuses on a great product, great service value for the customer and communicating with the customer. Apart from that his brand is concerned for the environment and in this way also attracts and connects with the group of customers who are concerned for the environment. His organization focuses on what the customers want and need, which are long lasting products that are not machine made, they are personal. They achieve long-term goals legally and responsibly by following labor laws and not gouging prices. The company integrates all of their activities to satisfy what the customer wants. Product quality is of very high value for him and he emphasizes no compromise on quality.

Geoffrey B. Small’s company uses the societal marketing orientation. The company can use social media to demonstrate their commitment to the marketing management philosophy they employ by posting how they are helping the customer’s purchases more durable goods that are worth the money. Social media can be a very good place to post customers reviews and get great customer input. As it can play a great role in connecting the company with its customers and helping it showcase all that it is doing for the society and its customers.
