Males and females differ in the organs for sexual reproduction as well as in secondary sexual characteristics. Some of the differences are not directly sexual but rather impact the individual sexes way of life. A male is more likely to retain the locomotive organs that allow it to find a female over food procuring organs whereas a female is more likely to experience the opposite. In sexual selection those who have the best sexual, nourishing and protecting organs are likely to generate more living offspring who inherit the beneficial traits. Individuals who do not possess as good of genes will have less offspring to carry on their weaker traits. Males of certain species have developed through natural selection the necessary features for sense and locomotion in order to find a female as well as prehensile organs to old on to her. The improved sense and locomotion in males is primarily used to give certain males an advantage over other males.
