Have you ever visited a place so beautiful and serene that you couldn’t imagine a more stunning place? For me, it is the shimmering and flowing waters of the ocean. The way that the deep blue waters meet the gritty beige sand leaves me in such awe. The water is like a soft blanket, comforting and inviting. The unique wildlife and vegetation that exists on the beach is something I’ve never seen anywhere else. There is no place more beautiful and thrilling than the beach. I can still remember the first time that I saw the ocean. I was a child, no more than 6 years old. It still stands out in my mind as one of the best memories I have from my childhood. I remember being able to taste the salt in the air on my lips as I took a deep breath. The water was such a deep shade of blue that reminded me of a Crayola crayon color. It got lighter and lighter as the water came closer to the shore until it ended as a light turquoise color. The color of the water when it actually met the sand was something that I can’t even describe. I would say that the closest thing you could describe it to would be translucent sea foam green. I remember how the waves curled up at their peak and then crashed down into the sand. The noise that the waves made as they crashed into the surrounding water can only be likened to the deep booming of a bass drum. The temperature of the water as it swirled around my ankles was not too cold and not too hot. The water was so clean and clear that you could see the ocean floor beneath your feet. Once in a while a huge chunk of seaweed would get wrapped around my toes and it reminded me much of a legendary sea monster swallowing its victim. The sun bounced off of the water’s surface, glimmering like a shiny crystal. Perhaps ... ... middle of paper ... ...autiful and exciting place. The water is unlike any other body of water that I had ever laid my eyes upon. Worthy of the nickname ‘God’s swimming pool”, it has a seemingly endless horizon that reaches as far as the eye can see. The sand is so fine and powdery and it amazes me at how it can change textures with just a little bit of water. Perhaps the most amazing part of the beach is the vast array of wildlife that inhabits the area. From fish to crabs, you will never see the same creature twice. Each animal has their own distinct characteristics which make it exciting to explore and try to find more. My favorite place in the world is definitely the beach and I highly recommend visiting and seeing it with your own two eyes. It is an infinite world of expression, a paradise of color. There is no possibility of disappointment when it comes to the serenity of the ocean.
The resort is a magnificent place for relaxation- with many beaches, ruins, restaurants, tourist attractions, entertainment venues, and natural wonders.
Hawaii, a place where tourists sip on their Mai Tai and enjoy strolls on soft sandy beaches overlooking the crystal blue ocean that reflects the sun-oh-so-nicely. A place to send the kids off to Hula lessons while the parents can finally get that outdoor massage they deserve. How could someplace resemble paradise so closely? No wonder it’s a signature vacation spot for families all over the world. One might ask how one of the world’s most
Have you ever dreamed of being on an endless stretch of beach and sand? Well I have and there’s a place like you haven’t seen before. Endless shores, breathtaking waves along a strip of skyscrapers, a rainforest that is not too far from the amazing coastline and practically everything a tourist could ever wish for in a city that rarely misses the sun.
My unforgettable experience is when I went to Manzanillo, Colima. I went 6 moths ago with my boyfriend, and we will never forget it because it was very exciting and we were planning this trip for a long time. We only had 2 nights and 3 days in this beautiful beach but it was enough for us to make it perfect. We spent all the time together just having relaxation time and time for each other. We frequently go to beaches, but this trip was very special.
Everyone has a place to brings peace and serene. A place where they can let everything go and have nothing to worry about. For me, the sunrise and sunset of Pensacola Beach in Florida was the ultimate cure for all of my problems and worries that were occurring in my life. Early in the morning waking up to the constant loud sound of my alarm put me in a soothing mood. As I head to my closet to open up the narrow framed door to reveal all the simple clothing, I fill with excitement of going to the beach to watch the sunrise and sunset.
Stepping onto the white sand, I feel the intense heat and humidity in the air. The vivid heat from the golden sun rays warm my entire body. Salty perspiration is running down my red face, and I am awaiting the moment in which I will run into the cool, refreshing waters of the ocean. I can smell the zestiness of the salt in the air. Glistening waves crash against the shell-covered shoreline, creating an intricate pattern in the dark, wet sand.
I have never seen such clear, blue water like that in my life, I felt like I was on a tropical island. I could only see the sky and the water, because we were surrounded by mountains. I didn't mind though, because they were beautiful shades of brown that I had never even seen before. The sky was a beautiful blue and there were no clouds to be seen. At night I enjoyed lying on my back and looking up because every inch was covered in stars. I can't even describe how beautiful the scenery was.
The warm weather, beach waves, a warm breeze. A place with all those characteristics is Florida. Florida is a nice place to go and relax at the beach with friends and family. If i could visit one place in the world it would be Florida because of the beaches, tasty foods, and fun amusement park.
I live in a tribe of Native Americans who are located at the bottom of the Andes Mountains in the Peru area. Our village faces the ocean which is beautiful at sunset when the sun can be seen disappearing under the water. The orange red glow of the sun reflects off of the dark yet clear blue of the sea. There is a hidden place, even though people only find on accident, that has the best view of the breathtaking ocean. I love that place cause few people find it and if they do the despise it immediately. I call this place my special place because the colorful plants and trees are soothing. The green grass tickles my toes when I stand and cushions my back when I lay down. This place is my go to hill whenever I receive my daily temper.
It was the middle of winter, and to get away from the cold my family and I decided to take a vacation somewhere warm and enjoyable. We decided to go to Florida and enjoy the warm and beautiful beaches. I pictured the ocean as being a place of peace and serenity. It was my first time visiting the ocean, and all I hoped for was the ocean to be as beautiful as the pictures I had seen of it. As we arrived at Clearwater Beach in Florida, the eagerness of seeing this peaceful place was rising. I couldn’t wait to smell the fresh salty air, and feel the soft sand between my toes.
...pend their free or discretionary time away from work and life’s obligations. These places provide people escapes from their everyday environments. In line with leisure being seen as recreational activities, these piers and beaches allow for fishing, swimming, walking, nature-viewing, among other activities. The water, sun, sand all help evoke a special attitude or state of mind that allows beach piers to be associated as places where fun can be had and culture can be shared through the spread of ideas, practices, beliefs, and values. While many primarily use the piers as means to socialize and have fun, they are also renewed mentally and spiritually in the process. By enjoying nature, they are able to partake in transcendent experiences, reflection on self and others, tranquility, increased awareness and connection to others, and appreciation of the world’s beauty.
Ever since Sunset Beach has been officially opened to the public, there has been a drastic increase of tourists present. Television programs concluded that at least a thousand people visit the beach everyday. Reasons for their stay are that they feel comfortable with the environment that surrounds the beach front, people who are at the beach are joyous and numerous activities to enjoy, and the fresh scent of the sparkly waters, make the visitors feel calm and pleasurable. So I decided to take a trip there.
Walking on a land of gold, the sand being so soft and smooth, glistens as it reflects the suns rays with joy. Cool, light and refreshing, the breeze gently eases up against my skin and glides through my hair, sending a gentle shiver up my spine. The rustling of leaves, small array of birds and delicate splashes of the sea are amazingly soothing and relaxing. The whole beach itself looks like a painted picture with a spectrum of colours all merged with one another. The sea also showing off a wide range of colours that reflects of the surface, like a dancing peacock showing off its finely detailed feathers.
Closer and closer to the calm water, I began sinking deeper in the sand. It was comforting, the silence, tranquility, and warmth of the faint sun. There is a slight breeze, warm, but cold and lonely. I could smell the scent of fish blowing through my hair and body. The sun was still fading, slowly but surely the day was almost over. About half of it is gone now. I could see shades of blue, red, purple, and pinkish-yellow. They were mixed with puffy clouds that lined the beginning of the sky and the end of the water. I noticed the darker shades on the bottom of the lower clouds.
