There are even skeptics that would suggest that dogs and cats display a capacity to love and hate. ...s a poison that destroys us from within, producing bitterness that eats away at our hearts and minds. Take a look at Hebrews 12:15, “…lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many become defiled.” In the midst of hate, a person can feel multiple emotions at once like fear, power, frustration, anger, ferocity, and in some cases depression. Love, on the other hand, can cause a person to be forgiving while completely overlooking the wrongs and even having a true desire for others to succeed. The word “love” is mentioned 310 times in the King James Version where “hate” is only mentioned 87 times. From this author’s opinion, this proves the greatest of all emotions is love.
In essence, throughout this journey of comparing and contrasting love and hate, this author has come to the conclusion it is easy to both love and hate at the same time.
