Dear President of the Nobel Prize committee,
Have you ever seen the word “Pasteurized” on your milk carton? Well, you should thank Louis Pasteur for that. Louis Pasteur undoubtedly deserves a Nobel Prize for his discoveries, accomplishments, and contributions to science. Louis was very humble as he made no profit off of his discoveries; instead he was paid by the government, or as a professor. Louis is mostly known for the discovery of Pasteurization. However, he has also found ways to prevent silkworm diseases, anthrax, chicken cholera, and rabies. Louis Pasteur has saved billions of people with his discoveries. Louis Pasteur lived from December the 27th 1822 to September the 28th 1895. Pasteur was a French chemist who spent most of his life trying to solve problems in industry, medicine, and agriculture. During his time, many other scientists believed that microorganisms and germs could spontaneously generate. Louis helped prove the idea of spontaneous generation wrong.
