What is philosophy is the question to ask the modern world. To understand the logic of humans and the world ancestors, philosophy is the study of reasoning the logic in attempt to understand reality and fundamental questions about knowledge, morality, life and human nature. The ancient Greeks were among the first to practice philosophy and defined the terms and meaning of love of wisdom. For whom study philosophy are the ones who are called philosophers. Throughout the ages, philosophers have seeked to answer questions based on the meaning and purpose behind life, how do we know what we know, What does it mean to possess consciousness, God exist, and what is the value of human morals.

Early philosophy was mainly concerned with describing the best way to organize and live in to society. Then to also understand many other disciplines such as: Law, Economics, Political science and Theology. Even though philosophy’s topics have evolved into other fields of study, the discipline remains. Modern philosophy have six main topics with their own meaning focus behind them. Metaphysics, Epistemology, Logic, Ethics, Politics, and Aesthetics. Metaphysics is the nature reality of the universe. Epistemology is the study of knowledge and how we humans acquire it. Logic is how to develop valid arguments. Ethics is the study of how people should live if they are right or wrong. He believes the soul pre-exist before the body or life.The highest reality in Plato mind is the soul. His way of thinking was the heaven ideas that he explains as the Meth of Er. The term Meth of Er. means, The soul of being there before body. Overall, the soul is there before the body. Man is soul which the soul becomes the body. Which makes the soul not bad within a person body, it is the body that imprison the soul to become in pain or killed through the sins the body have been put through. By the soul being put through hell and other sinful things the soul of humans suffer. In Plato theory, our life start with our soul before the structure of our body and mind. Our mind is tabua rasa. Tabua Rasa is explaining that once our soul has come, the mind of a human being is blank or empty from doing any sinful actions. Philosophy – a subject that had driven people insane for as long as humans know their history. All the time people try to find a meaning, and later controvert it. For example, critics view a novel by Lewis Carroll Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, as a quest for maturity story, Carroll’s view on Victorian Society and even existential meaning on life. All of those interpretations come from philosophical “drive” of the critics. The truth is that anyone can point a finger at the book and come up with their own “deep” meaning of the story, but if one looks at facts, well known, and obvious things – it is clear that the story is simply a children tale intended for entertainment and nothing more.
Philosophy is the study of knowledge, reality, existence and thought processes. Immanuel Kant from Prussia, (currently Russia) for whom was influential during the Enlightenment period; and John Stuart Mill from Great Britain whom was present during the Romantic era, explored ideas that they believed would create a more fair and just society, by trying to legislate morality. Morality cannot be legislated because it is a concept of right and wrong created by each different religion, region and culture; issues are not black and white.

For Plato, the soul is considered to have three parts: the appetitive or the passions, the spirited part or the will, the reasonable part or the intellect. The appetitive deals with the bodily necessities and desires. The appetite is often considered base or even sinful, but is clearly not so for Aristotle: the passions merely demonstrate a person’s basic necessities, which one can not consider without considering the human person in the same way. The spirited part reacts to injustices or incorrectness in one’s surroundings, and it is often described as the “angry” part, as anger deal with perception of injustice as well. Philosophy is a very important part of people’s lives. Philosophy is quite basically asking inquiries about existence, reality and nature of knowledge. To better understand philosophy we must look throughout history. Looking back through history helps better show what the philosophers thought during the time period in which they lived. The relativity of the theories, to the time period, is a very important factor in how efficient these theories they were. The first philosopher’s ideas to people today would be considered either very basic, or insane. Yet, in the time period they lived in, they were considered to be geniuses. Also, looking back through time and studying philosophers and what they believed can help create a better idea for our own philosophical creations. The first philosophers were also known as the Presocratics. They were called this because they were in a time period before Socrates was born. They mainly focused on answering what is the explanation of nature, also referred to as metaphysics. Even before the Presocratic philosophers, we need to look at the ancient Greek poets that created myths and examine how their stories came into being made and how it had an effect on their civilization. These myths are a part of Philosophy because they were the first ideas about creation. The transition between these mythic worldviews and pre-Socratic philosophers’ worldview was important because it lays down the structural work for great philosophers to learn from them and develop further theories based on their findings.

Each soul has to wait for Allah 's permission to descend to the earth and bring a baby in the woman womb to life. He illustrates this with the story of Socrates and the slave boy. With this, he showed that while the slave boy was an unschooled individual, he was still able to solve the problem of doubling a square. The word “philosophy” is derived from two roots that are “philo” and “Sophia.” Philo means love whereas Sophia means wisdom. Therefore, philosophy means the love of wisdom. In actual practice, philosophy entails study of, pursuit, and enquiry into wisdom. A good number of great philosophers have referred to philosophy as the art of thinking. Others have only defined it as the systematic study of human feelings and thoughts.
He believes that the soul takes shelter within the body. The three parts are all located in three different areas: reason is in the mind, spirited is in the heart, and desire is in the stomach. Reason is what controls the whole soul (Plato p. 49). The mind tells the body what to do, how to feel, what to say. The stomach is desire as we crave to have certain possessions such as food or other physical materials in life.
