What is philosophy is the question to ask the modern world. To understand the logic of humans and the world ancestors, philosophy is the study of reasoning the logic in attempt to understand reality and fundamental questions about knowledge, morality, life and human nature. The ancient Greeks were among the first to practice philosophy and defined the terms and meaning of love of wisdom. For whom study philosophy are the ones who are called philosophers. Throughout the ages, philosophers have seeked to answer questions based on the meaning and purpose behind life, how do we know what we know, What does it mean to possess consciousness, God exist, and what is the value of human morals.

Early philosophy was mainly concerned with describing the best way to organize and live in to society. Then to also understand many other disciplines such as: Law, Economics, Political science and Theology. Even though philosophy’s topics have evolved into other fields of study, the discipline remains. Modern philosophy have six main topics with their own meaning focus behind them. Metaphysics, Epistemology, Logic, Ethics, Politics, and Aesthetics. Metaphysics is the nature reality of the universe. Epistemology is the study of knowledge and how we humans acquire it. Logic is how to develop valid arguments. Ethics is the study of how people should live if they are right or wrong. The Athens Period was to believe that the philosophers had ideas of the creations of the highest reality. Plato is an philosopher who is an idealist. He believes the soul pre-exist before the body or life.The highest reality in Plato mind is the soul. His way of thinking was the heaven ideas that he explains as the Meth of Er. The term Meth of Er. means, The soul of being there before body. Overall, the soul is there before the body. Man is soul which the soul becomes the body. Which makes the soul not bad within a person body, it is the body that imprison the soul to become in pain or killed through the sins the body have been put through. By the soul being put through hell and other sinful things the soul of humans suffer. In Plato theory, our life start with our soul before the structure of our body and mind. Our mind is tabua rasa. Tabua Rasa is explaining that once our soul has come, the mind of a human being is blank or empty from doing any sinful actions. Its not our soul telling is to do this, this is our body doing the actions and the mind responding to the actions later.
