Identity Theft is a severe and important issue that needs more recognizing than is currently has now. Identity Theft is when mean people go around and try to steal your Identity. If they are successful and have stolen your identity they can buy items and you will be charged. They can also ruin your credit history and reputation with your Identity. Identity theft happens every day and many people are affected daily. If your identity gets stolen it may take years to get all your stuff back. It may even cost you money to fix it! This will tell you everything you need to know about Identity Theft and hopefully we can put a stop to it.
Each year around 15 million United States residents are affected by Identity Theft. This causes financial losses of around $50 billion per year. The average amount of money stolen per victim is $4950! That is a lot of money that is just taken from people with little things they can do to affect their identity from being stolen. The most common age group for Identity Theft is 18-24. The 18-24 age groups hold over 20% of all Identities stolen. Did you know that around 6% of adults are affected by Identity Theft? People who steal other peoples Identities are just really rude. Most people work very hard to earn their money and when it gets stolen from them it is just wrong. According to statistic brain the Identity Theft fraud rate is growing very slowly each year, but it needs to be stopped completely.
This issue can really affect people more than you think. Sometimes if you’re a victim of this you may not even get your money back. ... Theft is an issue that is hard to fix, but we could lower the fraud rate and if people get affected by this we could make an easier way to get their Identity and money back! So let’s put an end to Identity Theft!
