The Little Clinic Evaluation
The Little Clinic inside Fry’s Marketplace grocery store in Prescott Valley, Arizona is a walk-in clinic staffed with a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to address your minor injury or illness. The Little Clinic is a good choice because it is convenient, clean and cost effective. We all have busy lives and do not always have time to sit for hours at the Urgent Care or Emergency Department at the hospital. Our regular doctors may not have open appointments on short notice when we become hurt or sick unexpectedly.
The little clinic is open seven days a week. Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm. Saturday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Sunday 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. They can treat anyone over one-years-old with minor injuries or illnesses without the wait or cost of a larger, busier facility. The accept most insurance companies, but offer an affordable cost to the uninsured. They are staffed with a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant. They are also accredited by the joint commission which helps organize and strengthen patient safety efforts.
One reason The Little Clinic is a good choice is for the convenience. They are open seven days a week with extended hours after most people are out of school and/or work. There are no appointments, making it a walk-in clinic with little wait times, usually less than an hour. It is inside Fry’s Marketplace that offers a childcare play center, wide variety of shopping, bank, Starbucks and a pharmacy. If they are not busy you can register, be seen and have a prescription in about 30 minutes. There is minimal paperwork to fill out. The pharmacy can fill your prescription while you get your shopping done.

...better choice to come to The Little Clinic to be treated in a clean environment. My husband took our children to the pediatrician’s office for their annual flu shots and he acquired an upper respiratory infection from the sick children coughing in the waiting room. We wanted to get them on their last visit, but they do not have them in stock, they order them as they are requested.
Basically I feel The Little Clinic is an overall good choice in many aspects. I feel the convenience for busy people is the most important. Being a very clean clinic is just an added bonus, no one wants to get more sick or acquire something new. The cost effectiveness can benefit everyone. Health care is very expensive and we all should have the option to get affordable care with or without insurance. I highly recommend The Little Clinic to anyone with a minor injury or illness.

The Mayo Clinic: A Performance Management Assessment Essays

- At its most fundamental core, quality improvement of healthcare services and resources requires disciplined attention to the measurement, monitoring, and reporting of system performance (Drake, Harris, Watson, & Pohlner, 2011; Jones, 2010; Kennedy, Caselli, & Berry, 2011). Research points to performance measurement as a significant factor in enabling strategic planning processes and achievement of performance goals (Tapinos, Dyson & Meadows, 2005). Thus, without a system of measurement that accounts for the performance behaviors of healthcare professionals, managers and administrative employees, quality improvement remains a visionary abstraction (de Waal, 2004)....   [tags: Mayo Clinic Case Study]

Freddie Fry-Highway Brides Essay

- Freddie Fry-Highway Brides One of the cool things about writing for the Aquarian is that you get to hear a lot of really great music that doesn’t always surface within the commercial channels. New Jersey’s Freddie Fry fits right into that category with his unpretentious rock and roll sounds that might be more at home somewhere in Kentucky then down on the Jersey Shore. He isn’t plugged into the local hero squadron and prefers to roam deep within the Howard Hughes ghost-like realm. Even if you’ve bumped into Fry on the street, you probably wouldn’t recognize the man or the skill he brings to the table....   [tags: Music Review ]

Essay on Marketplace Madness

- Marketplace Madness On a Friday afternoon I traveled with two others from my English class to a rather ordinary patch of farmland next to Highway 101 and adjacent to the Promenade. From out of the car window we looked at a seemingly endless field of cabbages, bordered at least an acre thick with black dirt. It looked strange that the busy Promenade abruptly ended at this sea of dirt. To the left we could see cars streaking by on the highway. The field had a tilled appearance, yet it looked as if nobody had been working on it for a while....   [tags: Personal Narrative Writing]

Essay about The Gross Clinic

- In 1874, Thomas Eakins took a second course in anatomy at Jefferson Medical College. He attended surgical lectures and clinics presided over by Professor Samuel D. Gross. Eakins painted “The Gross Clinic,” to show the emotion involved in medical procedures. It appears as if the doctors performing the surgery have emotionally removed themselves from the situation at hand. By removing themselves from the emotional aspects of the surgery, the doctors can complete the task much easier than they would have been able to do if they had become emotionally attached to the patient....   [tags: essays research papers]
