Linton University College

1.2 Background
Kolej University Linton (Linton University College) or formerly known as Kolej Linton was founded in 1985 in Ipoh, Perak. In its early stages, the College concentrated in offering the vocational and diploma level programmes in Engineering, namely Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Civil engineering and Building engineering.

In 2007, Kolej Linton was given the approval to run six degree programmes from University of East London (UEL), UK. One of the approval degree program is Bachelor of Information System (Hons) in Business Information Systems. ( kene + lg utk uitm )

1.3 Definition of term

PHEI: Private Higher Education Institutions

UiTM: University Technology Mara ( yg mana familiar buang )

1.4 Issues and problems
The problem on conducting this research for this assignment occurs when the IPTS chosen is far away from here. Because of that I can’t go there for future and details research on what I’m going to evaluate. The information all I get is from internet, the information there is not up to date. ( yg ni issue yg timbul kenapa kite kena compare)

1.5 Purpose
The aim of this programme is to provide students with theoretical knowledge, principles of business, information technology, the advantages of using information technology in making business decisions, advanced practical skills and experience to develop applications which will support the Industry needs.
