Lincoln's Leadership: A Cinematic Analysis

I went and watched the movie Lincoln to see what type of leader he was and what he stands for and acts like. I feel the movie didn 't do a good job at showing what Lincoln stands for. Most of the movie Lincoln wasn 't even in it. Even though he wasn 't in most the movie he still had a great impact on it and it did a good job at showing his leadership skills and what he stood for and how he was able to get what he wanted for a outcome. A few things to ask is what type of leader is Lincoln? Another thing to talk about is his verbal skills and how he can have a outcome by just giving a speech. This also shows his determination towards things that he wants.

I feel that Lincoln might have lead this country through one of the deepest politic crisis. His style of leadership is mostly bias and after trying to find out which one he was and after looking at many type of leadership styles he is I agree with the New York Times saying that he is a exemplary leader. He was sitting back in the movie and I know that they didn 't want to show him the whole time but he wasn 't able to show all his features I thought. Now Lincoln today as president would be interesting. I would want to see how he feels about everything that is going on. His morals would still be the same but the world he lived in is completely different then the world were all living in now. Money exceeds more than what people can talk about but I think that Lincoln would still be able to sway people to what he thought was morally right. I wish that Lincoln could be our president now. I feel that he was a hard and driven person by what the movie showed and got what he wanted. Thats what type of president that we need I 'm not saying that we don 't have one now. The thing is no one will ever be able to have the persuasion Lincoln
