In the episodic drama, Life is Strange, we follow Maxine Caulfield and her best friend Chloe Price. The two must work together in order to save Chloe’s best friend, Rachel Amber, who has been missing. Max maybe the main character but Chloe seems to be the real star of the show. Chloe is a rebellious nineteen-year-old girl in a somewhat broken home. She has a great personality, has mixed relationships with the others, and has the greatest part to play in the whole series.
In the first episode, we meet Chloe in the girl’s restroom of the school Max goes to, called Blackwell Academy in Arcadia Bay, Oregon. Chloe seems to be confronting the school’s rich jerk, Nathan Prescott, about some drugs when he pulls a gun on her and shoots her. This is when Max discovers she has the ability to reverse time and saves Chloe. Eventually the two meet up again when Nathan bullies Max and Chloe saves her in her

Chloe’s place in the story of Life is Strange is perhaps the biggest part. It’s because of her the search for Rachel Amber begins, and it is also theorized that it’s because of her a massive storm that will destroy their home is coming. In episode three, Max is able to reverse time enough to go back and stop Chloe’s father, William, from dying. This leads to a totally different time-line where Max is friends with Nathan and Chloe is paralyzed and is dying. Max decides this isn’t right and goes back to fix things, setting time back to what it was, all for Chloe. In the end, the two find Rachel’s body and vow revenge when Nathan, who we believe is the killer, threatens to move Rachel’s body. This leads to Chloe freaking out and falling into a trap with Max, causing her to get shot in the head. It hasn’t been confirmed if Chloe is truly dead thanks to Max’s time powers. She may still have a part to play in the future, even if she is truly
People have goals everyday, believe it or not some people think that dreams aren't worth it. I believe that it is worth it to dream because it gives a person a goal, it makes them feel good, and it makes them stronger. I know this from The Pearl, A Cubs video, the Susan Boyle video, and We Beat the streets.

Zed being a very charismatic man caused both Chloe and Lois to become attracted to him. This leads to the three of them creating a special bond early on. In the beginning of the novel Chloe describes her trusting of Zed being due to the way he looked at her, “As if he knew me perfectly, as if he could read my mind, as if I were the only person in the world who mattered. Doesn’t everyone want to be looked at that way?” (Mitchell 5). This shows how much his first impression left an impact on Chloe, how much she was attracted to him as soon as he picked her up. For a girl at her age to have a man look at her as if she is that important is almost magical, and very dangerous. For this small look to cause Chloe too, willingly get into his car shows how charismatic Zed was. After living with Zed for only a few months the two girls had become like a family. People are like pieces of various, mind-blowing art projects; they come in all shapes and sizes, and some are more detailed than others. Shirley Jackson’s short story, “The Possibility of Evil”, provides a specific example in one character. Miss Strangeworth is introduced, and she can be described as arrogant, outgoing, and meddlesome. Miss Strangeworth’s character can be analyzed by considering what she does, what the narrator says about her, and how other characters interact with her.
In Ken Kesey’s novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, the reader has the experience to understand what it was like to live in an insane asylum during the 1960’s. Kesey shows the reader the world within the asylum of Portland Oregon and all the relationships and social standings that happen within it. The three major characters’ groups, Nurse Ratched, the Black Boys, and McMurphy show how their level of power effects how they are treated in the asylum. Nurse Ratched is the head of the ward and controls everything that goes on in it, as she has the highest authority in the ward and sabotages the patients with her daily rules and rituals. These rituals include her servants, the Black Boys, doing anything she tells them to do with the patients.
The main protagonist in the story is Cassie Sullivan. Cassie is important to the novel because the whole story revolves around her trying to save her brother, while also trying to keep herself alive and away from the aliens that are taking over the world. She is very dedicated; she won’t stop working until her promises are fulfilled. She is determined, not stopping until she can get to her brother. She is also very hopeful; she doesn’t know if her brother is still alive, but she has the hope he is still alive and that keeps her moving and working hard.
