Throughout my life I have encountered many people worthy of admiration. My mom and dad have taught me to look up to people who work hard at life. People who choose to be kind to others make the world a better place. The person I value the most acquires these traits. She is the mother of my best friend and is very close to my family. Leslie Harris is a kind, charismatic person, and I have grown to truly admire her.
Leslie’s kindness and concern for others are very admirable. First, she is a kind and happy person. Leslie has so many wonderful friends that adore her. Most any one she comes in contact with becomes her friend. She will talk to any one and every one. When it comes to parties, Leslie is the social butterfly. She always makes sure every one is included and having a great time. Ms. Harris is a supportive and encouraging mother. I do competitive cheer with all three of her daughters. She always takes us to practice and goes to the parent meetings. She has never missed a competition and is always cheering the loudest while we are on the floor. Her son does many sports such as...
Frances (Fannie) Perkins was an amazing person that represented a strong image for the female race. She was the first female cabinet member in the United States. Frances Perkins was the most influential person in American history because if she hadn’t been the first U.S. female cabinet member, females may not have a role in the U.S. government.
Everyone has a role model in life, someone to look up to, and someone that inspires people. Temple Grandin is an amazing example of a role model that everyone should have. Temple grandin is inspiring and a role model because she started off as a little girl with autism that people thought she was insane but proved everyone wrong by earning her Ph.D, becoming a scientist and professor of animal science at Colorado State University, and made a revolutionary change in the livestock industry. Temple throughout her life showed courage, strength, determination, kindness and figures out to turn her weakness into her strength. Temple Grandin is an ideal person to follow and a good role model because she never gave up and fought for what she believed in.
In conclusion I'm sure that everyone has someone inspiring in their lives but I couldn’t have asked for a better role model in my life. The impact that he has on not only his family but the world is something that amazes me every day. He always finds ways to give back to the community and make the community better. He always encourages me to never give up and strive to be the best. You can love him or hate him but to me he’s
She tells her story to anyone her asks about her past, and it always seems to affect them in a positive way. She tells anyone who is currently going through what she has experienced, to not give up, and stay head strong. She empathies with them and counsels them in any type of way that could help them. She very strong wiled and head strong, but also extremely kind and caring towards others. Her quote to everyone is, “Success is admired because is not easy to do and not everyone archives it, but if you do teach
A personal thing she does is putting her family before her performance. It’s important that she makes time for herself. I think this is a good idea for important people with busy schedules. She took some time off to take care of her new baby boy which is now 7 months. She makes sure her relationships come before her work. She is very supportive about her husband, Mike Fishers hopes and dreams. She supports all of his decisions and he supports all of hers.
...African Americans after the civil war Barton stepped in helping anyone she could. This to me is the way a nurse should feel in her heart. Wanting to be a nurse to be selfless and help individual get better or to console and stay with them to comfort them in their last moments. She is a true inspiration to nurses everywhere.
Ms. Lemry is a supportive, kind, thoughtful and loving teacher and coach and will be there for her students when they need her. Ms. Lemry is there for her students and goes out of her way to meet their needs. Ms. Lemry is also loyal and is super nice. She has respect for her students and she gets respect back from them. Ms. Lemry is a great person and will be there when someone needs her. For example, at the end of the book she took Sarah Brynes in and adopted
Mrs. Callaway is what every nurse should strive to become. I want to follow in her footsteps. She never complains about anything, she just steps up and does what needs to be done. I strive for this every day. I do not want to be the nurse that is stuck in an office but I want to be that nurse that all my patients and co-workers can count on to do the right thing and to make the right decisions. I understand that every day is not going to be great days, but if I put my best foot forward everything else will follow.
never be afraid to be who you are is truly inspiring and because she practices what she preaches
During the past few days, many of our friends and family have come to our home to show their love for us and for Arlyn. I have been especially moved by the fact so many of her teachers and principals have shown up and cried with us. I am also touched by the love her young friends had for her. Our memories of this sad time in our lives will therefore not all be bad.
Her visibility, eloquence, and confidence made her a valuable community advocate and resource. “She described her as a courageous person. "She just had so much dignity and I think that's why people just loved Jessie because she was just such an inspiration to everybody,”" Her personality makes her supporter for in love with her, it gives her the courage to do the unknown.
Price Waterhouse should educate its partners and employees about accepted work practices and should institute diversity training in order to educate members that stereotyping is unacceptable. Ann Hopkins should be admitted as partner to the firm and welcomed as a valuable addition to senior management.
Regardless of her challenges, she ingrained her passion, perseverance, and and motivation into the core values that she taught me. As a result, her influence on my life is endless. More importantly, my mother was a survivor. Not only did she raise four children as a single, Black woman, but she did all of which while simultaneously fighting breast cancer for over seventeen years. Despite the difficulties, my mother never succumbed to the severity of her condition. She did not wait to die, but in fact lived her life to the fullest. Ranging from traveling the world, running successful businesses, and being a mother, she left no stone unturned. This is one of the reasons that I respect my mother so much. The fact that she went the extra mile to care for my siblings and I, pursue her own career, while holding on to her life, inspires me to never let my challenges keep me from my living an abundant life. I hope to be a fraction of the woman that my mother was when I grow
... fantastic role model in my life and I will always look up to her.
My mother has taught me so much over the past twenty-seven years and not until now did I realize that my great qualities that I have as a leader, my mother is the person to thank for all of these qualities.
