In 1 Corinthians 6:12, it states that though things may be lawful they can also not be helpful, and to not let the body be dominated by anything (ESV). In this case, it is unlawful to drink at a certain age under twenty-one, and by drinking alcohol at a younger age it puts up a greater chance of being controlled by alcohol later in life. As followers of Christ, believers are called to steer those who are easily influenced, such as teens, to stay away from being mastered by the power of alcohol. If teens drink at an age the law has restricted then they are not glorifying God through actions. In conclusion, believers are told to treat their bodies correctly.
