Leadership has many definitions and even has become a philosophical question. In today 's world, there are many leadership styles that correspond to people 's personalities and the way they facilitate groups. In its simplest point, a leader is someone who leads. A wise professor once said, "That if you are leading and no one is following you, you are just taking a walk". One of the greatest challenges that leaders face are people. It 's in these interviews I was able to see the differences of how they dealt with people. I interviewed Larissa Cadahia who is a store manager of a Dunkin ' Donuts in Tewksbury Massachusetts. I went the extra mile and did things that weren 't required of me. I started taking up more responsibilities and gaining the trust of my boss and kept moving up." From my experience with working with her and seeing her move up, I saw that she was a very hard worker. This attitude of a hard work ethic really reflects in her leadership style. When asked about her leads her employees, she said "I lead by example. It 's very hard to stay still when there is the possibility of my employees slacking off. I work beside my employees and if a job isn 't being done to my standard I will go in and do it myself." Larissa has a very prominent commander leadership style. She holds her employees up to a very high standard and usually will not tolerate anything but the best. She stated in her interview "I always felt I was meant to be a leader. He became a bishop six years ago and he is in charge of the logistics of the church and of a non-profit organization called "Love and Life Connections". Love and Life connections is a nonprofit organization that reaches out to help people in the community that are struggling with addiction, homelessness, and abuse. The nonprofit is about three years old and so far is operating as a restaurant-style soup kitchen. From being under Vincent, I learned many things about leading humbly but stern. When I asked about his journey of how he got to this position, he said: "I 'm here by God 's grace, in a position I feel that I don 't deserve or am qualified for, but God called me and I responded." Vicente is a very hard worker and never takes credit for anything. When I was reading Good to Great and had reached the chapter that talked about level five leaders, Vincent was the first person who came to mind. When asked what a leader is, he said "A leader is someone who works beside others, brings people together, then when the job is done, disappear and make way for God to be glorified. His leadership style is a hermit because he is a very quiet man, but when he speaks, it means something. He is also a visionary and is planning for church growth.
