Recommended: Compare two leadership styles

The purpose and the intent of this paper are to compare and contrast the leadership styles and scope of influence of two historical leaders. This paper will capture what made this historical leader effective looking at these points of interest one) Integrity, two) Knowledge, three) Sincerity of purpose and four) Care for others. This paper will also view how the historical leader influenced the lives of others in a positive or negative way. How will or has this leader been remembered in history? In my personal opinion would I consider this leader a servant-leader and how did these leaders use their communication skills gain the support for their ideas doing the time of leading others. It is the hope that the reader will be able to make a decision for his or her self as well as gain knowledge and information about the two historical leaders chosen in this paper.

The two leaders that this paper will compare are John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan I is in my opinion that these two United State of American Presidents were and are historical leaders. John Fitzgerald Kennedy often referred to as JFK was the 35th President of the United States of America and served in this capacity from 1961 until his assassination in 1963. Kennedy served before his presidency as Massachusetts’s 11th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1947 to 1953. Kennedy also served in the U.S. Senate from 1953 to 1960. After this he was elected to a President in 1961. At the young age of 43 Kennedy was the second youngest president to be elected in to the office of Commander in Chief (U.S. President).Ronald Wilson Reagan was the 40th President of the United States serving from 1981 to 1989. Reagan served as the 33rd Governor of California...

In closing, Kennedy and Reagan were great men of integrity, they were men that led by example and many presidential candidates copied theirs words in their own speeches. Because of Kennedy men have been sent in to space and even and have walked on the moon. Because of Reagan the tax code was overhauled which help those of low income. Reagan left the office of President with the longest recorded period of peacetime and prosperity without causing a recession or depression.
