Servant leaders are one of the best forms of leadership style because the leader thinks of his employees before the leader thinks of their own tasks, to assist in the management of the office, the employees would be educated in areas that may not be part of the job description as the need to see the employees learn and advance is great and that by doing these, the employees are at an advantage and less likely to seek employment elsewhere. This is not as a doctor would heal the sick, more about mending broken spirits. All humans have at one time have had a time that their spirit has been broken. Someone who is a servant leader is able to see that and is willing to take the time to try to mend the spirit. This can also be applied to relationships in the workplace. All humans have idiosyncrasies, sometimes it just does not seem to meld into the group. A leader would be able to see this and offer solutions as to how to resolve it. Two employees worked together however for some reason, there was some personality issues. When brought to attention, there was a discussion. After that intervention, those two employees made the workplace a more harmonious place to work. This was a broken spirit that was healed by the leader would was willing to mend the spirit.
