There is a great amount of pride and accomplishment to know that you are a leader at your work environment. For some being a leader is easy and for some it takes time to learn and grow as a person to be a successful leader. It may even be hard for people to really distinguish themselves as a leader and not manager. They are two different traits in a work environment. I recently completed two leadership assessment quizzes. From both the quizzes I had somewhat different results. There was not a huge significant difference between each other but there were some. From the results I still have a bit to work on to become a great leader but I believe I am on the right path. I could relate more with the questions that were asked then the Leadership Legacy Assessment. The results I got from this assessment were Team Leader. Team leader is the high task and high relationship. The bumc.bu.edu website states Team Leader as, “A person leads by positive example and endeavors to foster a team environment in which all team members can reach their highest potential, both as team members and as people.” (bumc.bu.edu) I do try to help people if they struggling at a new task. My most challenging aspect to be a good Team Leader is that I am not very good at training someone. I do have a difficult time explaining things to people. I also believe what helped me have a result of a Team Leader would be that I get along with people very well. I have worked at my current job for over six years and I have never had any confrontation with any of my coworkers. The high task for team leader is that I like to finish my entire task. I like to finish everything before I go on break because after break I know I will have more work. I do not like to stop in the middle of my task because I feel as if I am
