Leadership and Managerial Aspects of Most Recent Professional Role
As a leader, experiences are important as they provide great opportunities to meet challenges, assessment, and support necessary for professional development in leadership. In my current professional role where I have assumed leadership responsibilities as a production manager, there are a number of aspects that accompany such an organizational position. Leadership, being the ability of an individual to inspire others in their thoughts and actions is an important organizational tool that can propel an organization towards a particular direction in the achievement of its desired results. In this way, a leader comes across numerous experiences that shape their personal and professional abilities, with such creating challenges and opportunities to learn from (Kaiser, McGinnis & Overfield, 2012). The leadership strengths gathered over a period of time enable a leader to cultivate sound relationships with their followers, which are essential for the realization of organizational success.
