Recommended: Importance of being a leader essay

I have experience democratic leadership through being the secretary of the student government and being a part of class presentations in college. Leadership role is a responsibility that is extremely important in society. Through the course of this class my leadership knowledge has increased in numerous ways, I now have a better understanding of the importance of being a leader. Being a leader requires one to be a positive role model. Most leaders are people orientated person, a leader should always have a good communication with others, it is vital to maintain a good relationship. In my leadership role I have the responsibility of coordinating and influences others around me.
To determination my leadership ability I will be a commissioner for a public agency. As the commissioner of the social services department overseeing large department in my district, managing 967 employees. I will offer services to mental health, but my main focus will on foster parenting. I am going to help families with the struggling emotional situation, …show more content…

Leadership role is a people-oriented field which includes two important features such as morality because your decision does affect a large group of people. Creating a model for all my clients, using my models to evaluate and target clients. This model will be used to improve my intervention, then I will divide all my 967 employees into groups of two. One group will be in charge of leading with my client directly and another group will be in charge of all the organizing of the group, a supervisor will be chosen, working with all my employees and giving me weekly updates.
