The long, debated question has been asked for decades… which doughnut company reigns supreme, Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts? Many people believe that Krispy Kreme is better because of it more traditional flavors and being able to get their doughnuts hot and fresh. On the other hand, many people like Dunkin Donuts because it is more modern with many different flavors to choose from and The choices of a variety of hot or iced coffees. Many people love coming into Krispy Kreme and watch their doughnuts being made right in front of them. Watching the creamy, white glaze fall over the hot doughnut is a wonderful sight for anyone that wants to sink their teeth into a fresh, sweet doughnut. However, in today’s busy times people love that they can go to Dunkin Donuts and go in and get a coffee and a doughnut of their choice for a quick, delicious breakfast that can get their day started. Another question to be asked is the amount of stores there are for each and their advertisements. Are the two companies really as different as they seem, or are they similar in ways we don’t see?
First off, we must look at the differences in products and what the two companies have to offer. When you look at Krispy Kreme they have 55 different kinds of doughnuts! This seems like a lot of flavors, but when compared to Dunkin Donuts Over 200 different flavors Dunkin Donuts seems to be vastly superior to that of Krispy Kreme. When looking at the menus of both companies I see that Dunkin Doughnuts has a vast amount of options compared to Krispy Kreme. On the other hand, Krispy Kreme makes doughnuts where you can see them and you can always go in when the hot light is on and get some fresh, hot doughnuts and be on your way, While Dunkin Donuts makes all of th...

To conclude, Krispy Kreme is very traditional when it comes to making their doughnuts and the flavors that they make. Dunkin Donuts is very untraditional when is comes to their doughnuts and all of there flavors. Krispy Kreme also has a very traditional 50’s appearance and vibe, while Dunkin Donuts has a more modern look and vibe to it. The advertisements of the two are also very different from one another. While Krispy Kreme advertises doughnuts with coffee. Dunkin Donuts advertises coffee with doughnuts. The two seem to be very different when it comes to a lot of things whether it is food or appearance, but the decision is yours to make… are they really as different as they seem?
