Let 's start with a dictionary definition: "Wisdom is knowledge and good judgment based on experience; being wise. 2. wise conduct; wise words. 3. scholarly knowledge." My citation for wisdoms definition is in the mind of man. How far will it advance? We think ourselves to sleep. These are our lives but do they matter? What 's worth remembering? To me the pursuit of wisdom is a way for us to not live our lives in Vain. “Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise.” (1 Corinthians 3:18) Jesus is devastating to philosophy because he claims to be the end and the answer to all of man’s questioning. Three pillars came crashing down and all that 's left to write about is the pursuit of wisdom. "Make your ear attentive to wisdom, Incline your heart to understanding..." ( proverbs 2:2 ) Wisdom is learned through lessons. Lessons are learned from the life you lived. Knowledge is based on facts and intelligence is fleeting. My method is spiritual in nature. True wisdom is hidden from sight because we would only use it to exalt ourselves. It is kept secret because our thoughts are futile. For so many years, we humans have been aware – or could discover, for ourselves – wisdom, a conscious understanding regarding our own nature. Modern science seeks to separate itself from the pursuit of spirituality and natural order. How can I know that the mental experiences of other humans are similar to mine? How can I know that other people have minds at all? I can only observe my own mental experience. What evidence do I have for believing that the thought process of others is like mine? Speaking about skepticism reveals a lot about the human mind in itself makes us think about intelligence and what it is. Your listening to my pursuit of wisdom through written words. Is this the type of essay you had in mind? It 's hard for us to know what wisdom is let alone write an essay over the subject. All I have to write about is this endless pursuit.
