They have very little time to enjoy themselves, because they are brought up to dedicate themselves to studying and doing their best in school. This isn 't necessarily a bad thing, because the people of Japan are clearly very educated, and Japan is usually ranked very high in most world education rankings. However, because of all this stress a lot of students would be gaining from a lack of free time and pressure to succeed, they tend to suffer mentally. Japan was a very military centred country many years ago, so its not surprising how strict Japan 's education system can be on its

For example, if one is moving to the French educational system to the American educational system, he would not unlike to identify what the differences between the two systems are. the only true repository of the public will.” A renowned defender of public education, Jefferson proposed plans for an education system that included grammar schools in his presidency. As a result of these relentless policies for education, the United States expanded on the concept of public instruction through the establishment and upkeep of a practical education system. The United States continued this tradition and established a reputation as one of the best education in the world. Currently, this
Being a business education major, I am very interested in the different structures of the education systems in the world. Not only do I think it is important to teachers to understand the different education systems, but also everyone else. Because of our world growing into a more global world, we all need to understand the culture and customers of different countries. As described in International Business: Opportunities and Challenges in a Flattening World, culture is, “in the broadest sense
A Comparison of Schools in the U.S. and Japan In Japanese schools, from elementary schools to universities, teachers direct what students should do or how they should be. Students follow the school rules and the directions of teachers. In American schools, on the other hand, students have to be more independent than Japanese students in many ways. Because of differences between Japanese and American schools, Japanese students who begin to study in an American school are shocked, and they take

However, considering Hendry’s familiarity with Japanese culture and society in general is it fair to say that this assessment of the education system in Japan is accurate, and if so, to what extent do Japanese students have it harder than we do in the West? Throughout this essay, I intend to explore the features unique to the Japanese education system, and contrast them

Private Schools Will Not Fix the American Education System The American public education system was founded on the radical notion that all members of society should have equal access to education.
