It’s not real. Not unless, you’ve seen it yourself. Those who have, try desperately to get others on the same path. Those who are skeptical, call the other ones crazy. Is there ever a whole truth in this matter? Is it real, or do we just get that gut feeling inside us that tells us to believe it is. To believe in the unbelievable. The wind lightly drags the leaves across the front porch. The temperature drops as the front door opens. With each step, the floor moans to what was once a familiar pressure. The ceiling creeks. The sound of footsteps is being carried upstairs, but everyone is standing still. The sound of mice scratching in the walls, echo throughout the house. Lungs start to compress faster and the heart beats making a drip of sweat slide down the forehead. The front door shuts with no one touching it. Did the wind pick up, or was it something else? They walk out into the hall to see who it is, but no one is there. It happens again—almost every night. Then, an eerie tapping sound comes through the walls. The family could not ignore it any longer and comes to the conclusion that it’s a ghost. They try to remain at peace so to not anger the spirit. Around five or more families lived in that house, and they did the same thing as the Price family. They tried to remain at peace with the ghost. Many people died in that house. Slaves and family members who lived there. Even an elderly woman who simply died from old age. There’s no telling how many hearts stopped on that land. It took a hundred years or so later until the house was first investigated. October, 1967. First team to investigate, captures a picture of a ghost walking up the stairs.
