If you are a person like myself, when you think of an abortion your heart melt. I always heard stories of abortions and the affects it can have on your body. You might think to yourself, why do people do such a thing. I remember how I use to feel so distress about abortions. I couldn’t not understand why people would want to harm an innocent child. At the end of the day we never know what someone is going through. However, I do believe in free will and living for you. Therefore, I would have to agree with pro- life (which agrees that everyone deserves a chance at life) for you have many options of birth control, adoption available and every fetus should have the right to life.
I understand that each person has control over their own life. So,

You would sickening form the thought. God has given you the precious gift to bear a child, why harm this precious gift. Children are not asked to be here; we create and bring them here. My mother always told me, you women enough to lay down and make a child be women enough to take care of the child. She believes that once a child is conceived there is no such things as abortion. You never know the potential a child may have on this Earth. Once, you become pregnant, that child destiny is already prepared, the creators has given that child purpose and meaning for their life. After, seeing the presidential election, who’s to say that a child that have been aborted, could have been in the race, and a far more compelling than the others. For, example Simone Biles is Olympic champion whose mother gave her up at the age six, due to drug related problems. Simone was later adopted by her biological grandfather. If Simone mother would have aborted her because she couldn’t care for her, then the world would have never seen such an inspiring African-American teen. Since, Simone mother was smart and loved her kids she gave them to her father, who she knew would do a great job of raising them. She has become one of many adopted kids to make a drastic difference in this world. So why take a child’s life away when you can simply give them to someone who can care for them in many ways you cannot. If you get an abortion you wouldn’t know what the child must offer, by giving them up for adoption, you can still have the choice of not knowing what the child must offer
An abortion is a surgical removal of a fetus. In some cases, women may not want to go through the surgical part and just want the pill or remove the child. I am not for aborting a child and I say this because a fetus is an unharmed child even if the child was brought into this world as an accident or even on purpose. Just imagine if someone was killing you right now! While you are alive as the beating of your heart beat per second and all of a sudden there is a crucible pain. To me it should not be legal, if it very miserable and disgusting. Abortions should only be preformed if there is a serious problem. Not just because you do not want a child because there are other options like adoptions. Carrying around a child for nine months and not being able to have the baby in your presence may seem like a waste of time. I feel that once you find the right foster parents, then everything will fall into place and you will fall back into you comfort
How would you feel if someone took away your ability to live? How would you feel if you were never given the chance to come into the world and contribute to the human race? These are some of the questions an individual needs to ask when considering having abortion. Abortion, in my opinion, is immoral and unjust simply because it is murder. A brutal murder of a being who has not even seen the world and a huge injustice to a helpless fetus who might have been the next Einstein, President, or the person who would find a cure to cancer. Morality says that every person has the right not to be unjustly killed. Hence, this right also apply to any unborn child. The thought of an individual killing his/her own unborn child is always lurking in the back of my mind because it’s hard to assert the harm being caused by the unborn child to the mother or to the society in general. If we say abortion is morally right, then we are against procreation and procreation is one of the major contributions of a human being to his or her society and the world at large. The act of procreation is one of the most beautiful things in the world. To make a human being, being able to watch that kid grow into an adult and actually be responsible to the society, should be a very fulfilling experience for any mother. I hereby oppose the principle of paternalism because I don’t believe it is moral to take away or destroy the life of an unborn child to save the life of the mother because there is no harm caused by the unborn child but I support the harm principle because abortion in general, causes harm to the unborn child, his future, the mother and the society. Therefore, I subscribe to Don Marquis view on Abortion in his article “Why abortion is immoral”.
The right to choose, right to pursue and right of speech has been a natural right our founding fathers have strived to preserve since the day it was violated. Though, the right they fought to preserve only benefited if thou were a white male, we slowly have come to include the rest of our population regardless of sex or of racial orientation. Women, in particular, have come a long way since their debut in World War II and continue to dismantle the misogynistic traditions we have deeply ingrained into our society. However, women are facing another obstacle: the right to abort an unwanted child. The controversial topic of abortion has been touched upon by politicians, religious groups and the women themselves and although it has been marked
Imagine this, you have just found out you are pregnant and you’re far from ready to have a kid. You could be a teen, a victim of rape, a one night stand, it could be a multitude of reasons. You think to yourself, should I terminate this pregnancy to make my life easier? This is a question many women have with themselves or even a friend or family member. Abortion has been around for centuries, it even dates back to the BC era, but just recently during the 19th century abortion became a huge social and moral issue.
In 1973 the Supreme Court was presented with Roe v. Wade. The ruling on this case caused an addition to be made to the the 14th Amendment, extending the right to a woman’s decision to have an abortion. Abortions can currently be done legally, yet out of the 44 million abortions done each year, half are done unsafely. Regardless of this statistic, many religious beliefs oppose the idea and condemn an individual who decides to have one. However, while many people believe abortion is an act of murder, abortion should remain legal because a large percentage of the female population will always need this option available for reasons such as a lack of income, family support, or medical issues.
Some people view it as murder while others see it as an alternate way of birth control. A popular debate in today’s society concerns whether abortion is the termination of the life of a fetus, or rather a way to terminate a pregnancy. Abortion is a voluntary medical procedure in which the embryo or fetus is removed from the uterus to terminate a pregnancy. The thought of abortion has gotten very popular among young adults over the last few decades and have caused many different opinions to rise, this seems to be caused by the evolution of technology in science making abortion cheaper and much safer. However, in the 1800s this was not the case, abortion was banned in Canada, as a result, illegal operations were popular, and in some cases death
Abortion was legally being done since 1880 in the United States. During that time, many states have started to ban abortion. Even though abortion was illegal in many places, it was still being practiced. Many by licensed physicians. They “risked losing their license to perform the abortions”. Even though abortion was illegal in most states, women all over the United States were getting abortion illegally. Some even performed self-abortions with “hanger and needles”. “Also many women would go to other countries and get an abortion”. Many felt the banning abortions was a way to limit women’s rights which led to many court cases. (ourbodiesourselves.org)
Have you ever longed for a family? A child to look after in your life? The very child that you will watch it grow up while guiding its way, and be a part of its legacy? Who will take care of you when your hair faded and your body was no longer good? It is the child you had given the chance to be born in this world. It is the soul you have spared many years ago while the temptation to abort it clouded your mind, and in the end, it is still a part of you. Abortion is wrong and should not be allowed to happen anywhere except under very strict, and rare cases. However, only about 43% of Americans is against abortion, saying it should be illegal, and even less around the world, ranging from 20%-45% (Pre Research Center). Here we have the consequences
Out of numerous controversial subjects, the topic of abortion has made its way up the list of most talked about. By medical definition, an abortion is the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus (“Abortion”). Among the controversy, two sides have formed. One side is known as pro-life and the other pro-choice. Pro-life supporters state that life beings at the moment of conception and believe that the unborn baby has the same rights as its mother. Pro-choice supporters believe that it is the woman’s right to decide what she does with her body and that pro-life supporters are against the rights of women and free choice. I personally believe
Abortion has been a controversial topic in the U.S ever since it became legal in 1973 after the Roe v. Wade case. Abortion is defined as the, “the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy.” Pro-life supporters believe that abortion is unethical and argue that it is the mother’s responsibility to own up to her actions. They also argue that there is always the option of adoption, and that abortion could be very dangerous. I am pro-life and believe that the government doesn’t have the right to decide what a woman can or can’t do with her body.
Websters dictionary defines abortion as “:a medical procedure used to end a pregnancy and cause the death of the fetus. (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/abortion) Abortion is wrong and should be abolished. If we kill criminals for killing people why dont we kill people for killing babies? Abortion should not be allowed for any reason in todays society because its like killing a person killing is wrong everyone can agree on this. I am going to tell you why abortion should be illegal in the united States and especialy everywhere
A person being pregnant and wishing they weren't is probably the worst feelings a woman can have. A women knowing that if they brought a child into the world and they didn't want it, or they would have to give it up for adoption is such a disheartening way to start off, and mother and the un-born child would be so much better off if they were to terminate the pregnancy and wait for a more appropriate time, or in the case of rape, put the past behind them and move on. Women should have the choice because not everyone knows what the situation was. In today’s society people have attached shame with the word abortion. When people hear of abortions they automatically assume it was the mothers fault and she didn’t use protection or may...
There are millions of sexually In the twenty first century, there are millions of sexually active teenagers, and most don’t protect themselves from pregnancies because they don’t think that it’s a big deal, or they have the mindset of “it can’t happen to me.” If a teenager becomes does become pregnant, should she be able to have an abortion if the conception was intentional? Since they are fully aware of their actions, no they shouldn’t, because abortion harms women, it’s murder, and teens should take accountability for their actions.
Today, Canada's legal abortion rate is about 100,000 a year. Since 1970, approximately 3.2 million unborn babies have been aborted in this country. (statistics fromcambridgerighttolife.ca) . That’s 300 children are aborted every day in Canada! For years people have been debating if abortion is right or wrong. I believe that abortion is wrong and shouldn’t be allowed unless there is harm to the mother in giving birth to the baby. I believe this is wrong because abortion clearly goes against one of God’s commandment “You shall not kill” . Even if the baby isn’t fully formed, in the church we believe that the second sperm touches egg, it is a life. Another reason why you shouldn’t get abortion is because it damages the relationship that you have
womans prime role was as wife and mother and control of ones own body. Once
