Humanities is described as the way of human life and how to document the human experience. Numerous methods that humans have recorded and understood our world include literature, religion, music, history, and philosophy. A popular method that stood out to me was how effectively the film industry portrays a vast array of cultures and ways of life in numerous countries around the world. I believe that cinemas in third world countries are seen as a luxury therefore it serves as a way of sending a message to the masses. “In the past few years, there has been a multiplication and diversification of avenues for the making, exhibiting, and reception of auteurist cinema in Africa, including the proliferation of workshops, training facilities, and film schools, along with partnerships that have produced new routes and new links with institutions, structures, and circuits in Africa, Europe, the Americas, Asia, and beyond and have opened in unprecedented ways horizons of fabrication and modes of experiencing African cinema.” (Aboubakar Sanogo) Having said that, my belief is that Nollywood will become a new, blossoming industry that will produce films that are zestful of African culture and convey moral messages in the foreseeable future, just as Hollywood does for the United States today.

Many films have been described by his students as grotesque, racist, and documentary based to provide the western world with first person point of views from a black person 's standpoint. Films like these do come with a few drawbacks such as that they are low quality due to lack of technology as well as very poor acting, making it tough for the audience to follow. Nevertheless, these movies can be obtained through interlibrary loans or even at larger libraries and copies can even be bought and watched on numerous methods of technology including DVD players, internet, or even VHS depending on what is affordable or available to your viewing likeness.
