Is it really worth it?
While in high school, all you hear is people asking questions such as what college are you planning to attend once you’ve graduated, and what are you planning on majoring in, assuming you are going. Although, what if you do not want to go straight to college once you have graduated high school? What if the student’s want to wait, should you still push high school students to go to a university even though they do not wish to attend a college? High schools advertise institutions of higher education and make it sound like the only option available and if you, the student, choose not to do it you are put down or are made to feel as if you are not as good as other students that are going to a four-year college. By filling out applications and sending out letters in the mail to colleges starting junior year in high school and taking pictures of only the students that have been accepted to a college so they can be posted on social networks for everyone to see thus making the other students who have not been accepted into a form of higher education look and feel lousy. If a student feels l...

...as all about.
For a student to start their life before college is not a bad thing even though society says it is; college is not easy and everyone has to make a choice to go or not. The students need to make this decision on their own and not have outsiders making them do things students do not want to do. In college isn’t for everyone W.J. Reeves states high school believes that they have to go to college right out of high school causing them to worry about getting into the college they want. The pressure put on students right out of high school is a greater amount then other students because at this time in their lives they are becoming adults. Some cannot handle becoming an adult and all of the college student things at the same time. Showing that, the students being pushed into college will not make it through all 4 years of college straight out of high school.

- Education - What is it Really Worth. Carl Jung believed that, One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers, but with gratitude to those who touched our human feelings.
