Limbaugh claims that distributing condoms in school is a bad thing to do. Limbaugh is against passing out condoms in school. On the other hand, his opponent’s claim young people are going to be promiscuous and there’s no way to prevent it, in return they need to be supplied with a safe barrier to protect themselves. Limbaugh wonders whose theory says “The youth are going to engage in it no matter what, there’s no way to prevent it.” Limbaugh states, why only apply that reasoning to sexual relations. He then claims young people are going to smoke cigarettes, we cannot stop them. So why don’t we supply reduced tar cigarettes? Young people are going to get a hold of firearms to use them, there’s no way of preventing this. So let’s protect teachers with bulletproof guards. Limbaugh suggest if we are really worried about safe sexual activity, why quit at contraceptive? Limbaugh’s point is no reasonable person would believe that if young people are going to smoke and we can’t stop them we should give them low tar cigarettes. Against Condoms in School Debate Paper

- Against Condoms in School Debate Paper USING CONDOMS IN SCHOOL – CLEARLY NOT A GOOD PLAN In a large amount of schools across America, this has become a disturbing trend. Schools are handing out condoms to kids. This is wrong on so many fronts that I cannot even begin to name them. The fact that people argue this fact astounds me. I cannot believe this action was even considered. I will name a few points that I believe are the most prominent and powerful arguments for my case. Firstly, the free condoms DO encourage kids to have sex....   [tags: social issues]

Is Death A Bad Thing? Essay

- In life some of us spend our time devoted to finding thrill, maybe even the next best exciting thing. But a particular aphorism quoted by Thomas Higgins that expresses what I think and fits my lifestyle would probably be: “I 'm not scared of death. I just don’t seek it out,” I am not saying that death is a bad thing. But what I think is by not seeking out an early demise I could use biological science to help people. What I seek my thrill in is biology. Yes, biology, the class you once had in high school that you might have sat through and drooled in because of how boring it was....   [tags: Human, Science, Life, Thing]

With a little education about condom use and safe sex many of these unnecessary pregnancies could be prevented. Why High Schools Should Provide Condoms and Sexual Education for Students

- My research paper is about why high schools should provide condoms for students, along with comprehensive sexual education programs. I hope to enlighten the reader about sexual education in high school by answering these questions: How will providing condoms keep students safe. Will sexual education benefit kids. And finally, did not having sex ed affect the generation before us. My view is that most teens are going to have sex, it’s natural and instinctual, but making teens less ignorant about sex and provide them with a way to practice safer sex will result in less teenage pregnancies, STDs, and smarter choices regarding sex....   [tags: sexual education, condoms, youth]

Is Agribusiness A Good Thing Or A Bad Thing? Essays

- Is agribusiness a good thing or a bad thing. To define agribusiness, it is agriculture conducted on commercial principles, especially using advanced technology. For example, science can modify a seed to make it a hybrid of itself or they can inject hormones in dairy cows to make them produce more milk. While most critics think that it’s not right for science to genetically modify our crops or animals, supporters think it is good for the ever growing population. I am still on the fence about agribusiness, but there are two sides to every story....   [tags: Milk, Cattle, Dairy farming, Dairy cattle]

- Is Tourism a good thing or a bad thing. Tourism is the act of travelling to and touring a location for pleasure. It is a very controversial topic due to the effects on the places that are being visited and toured. Some of these are positive, but there are also many negative aspects of tourism. The purpose of this topic is to determine whether the good things outweigh the bad, and if anything could be changed to better the negative effects. There has been rapid growth in tourism, especially since the 1980s (Walton, 2009) and continues to become more popular as each year passes....   [tags: Tourism, World Tourism Organization]

Bilingual Education Is A Bad Thing Essay

- Language is a part of culture and it’s the way we communicate with each other; this is a sacred thing that should be respected across cultures. The ban on bilingual education is inherently racist. People that are for proposition 227 can give many valid sounding reasons that this bill is a good idea, but it is not. When you dig deeper into the facts, there is literally no reason that bilingual education is a bad thing. People are afraid of change and they fear that as Spanish becomes more widely used, English will somehow fade away....   [tags: Spanish language, Culture, Language]

Condoms Essay

- Condoms The word condom is probably derived from Latin "condus" meaning receptacle. Another explanation is that the gut condom was invented by the English army doctor Colonel Quondam in around 1645 and that the word is a corruption of his name. We do not know who invented condoms, but we do know that they were in use. There is evidence of this in the writings of Marquis de Sade, Casanova and James Boswell. The latter, a Scottish lawyer and writer, protected himself against sexually transmitted diseases by using a linen condom....   [tags: Sex Protection Condoms Descriptive Process Essays]
