We live in a world where the internet lays a pinnacle role in our day to day lives. The internet is used globally and can impact the world in many ways. Firstly, what is internet? Well internet is a computer network which globally providing a wide range of information and communication services.
A lot of people tend to use the internet on a daily basis for their everyday use. Some people also use the internet as a living. For example, Youtubers, they tend to invade too much of their personal life for the world to watch and comment. It has its advantages and disadvantages. The internet is one of the biggest things in the world. Almost everything is on the internet. What is information privacy? Well information privacy usually refers to personal data stored on a device or system. Data Privacy is also another name for information privacy. There are 3 different data types of information privacy, they include internet privacy, financial privacy and medical privacy.
Data that is shared all over the internet is considered to privacy issues. What most websites tend to do, is to publish a privacy policy that contains the details of what the website’s intentions are for the use of online and/ or offline collected data. This is called internet privacy, which is also known as “online privacy”. Financial privacy is very sensitive as it can easily be used towards online and/ or offline fraud. This is called financial privacy. Medical records are stringent laws that are privileges given to user access. This is called Medical privacy.
Information privacy can be applied in multiple ways. This includes encryption, authentication and data masking. Each of these are intending to make their information secure and only available to whom are authorised ...
