Literary works are products of sociopolitical dynamism. No writer can escape from the effect of the sociological and political environment in which he (or she) lives. In other words, the sociopolitical environment shapes the personality and thoughts of poets and writers. Literary works reflect historical happenings in a society. A work of literature may give an account of revolutionary and social movements, social forces, or it may support a particular political thought or ideology. This trend has a long historical root into the literatures of Persian, Pashtu and those others who came under Arabic-Islamic influences after the spread of Islam in south and central Asia. The main themes which they constituted are pre-Islamic glories, ancient and folklore values. These trends mostly have been suppressed by the pro-Islamic writers, leaders, elites and schools.
