Introduction
In this essay we are going to critically analyze the International monetary fund (IMF) from the perspective economic nationalist IPE approach. First of all what is IMF ¬? International monetary fund was founded 60 years ago, after the World War II. The founders meant to construct a structure for economic support and help that can prevent the repetition of the terrible economic policies that led to the Great Depression of the 1930s and the global conflict that followed. Countries were trying to build back their economy after the world war, and needed a neutral international organization to monetary the economy.
The IMF provides a plan guidance and financing to its members who are in economic difficulties and also works with emergent nations to help them reach economic stability and decrease scarcity. IMF policy assumes countries should stick to free trade, but not all countries benefit from free trade .IMF aims to pack up international trade, which is required for stability of goods services in the free trade. A state should have general free trade philosophy. We are also going to discuss how IMF’s decision affects member states that makes decisions who has the most power or most votes.

...fficulties to have economic or political power in the world. Moreover if that country is in the IMF, there is a system to check all the IMF member countries’ economics therefore if that country has the serious economic problems or its national economics does not work anymore, the IMF can help to solve that problem. Hence the idea of Economic National Perspective about trading and the globalization is not good in the recent world, because the globalization is the key in the world economics and politics. It is very important keep the balance between national industries and imports, because if there are too many imports in the country, there will be some problem in hiring because the national industries would be difficult to compete with cheap import products. Because of these reasons, refuse to trade and be in the globalization is not good.
Nowadays, Globalization is a main trend for the world economic. The world’s economy has become fully integrated. There are no barriers and borders to trade around the world.
Our global world is becoming more connected as we become integrated politically, socially and even economically. Due to the Bretton Woods agreement, different countries have been economically dependent on each other in fear of war to erupt. From then on, different organizations and policies tied more countries into being economic globalized. This economic globalization has then given us many opportunities in trade and more access to natural resources in other countries. Unfortunately, there are some negative effects that are brought to less developed countries.

Globalization is an important contemporary phenomenon and it is difficult to avoid the trend. Its development as well as make people recognize each other's lives in an interdependent global village. Therefore, globalization encourages people to care about many global equity issues such as peace, justice, environmental protection. Like many phenomena, there are both sides of pros and cons in globalization. Globalization can create new opportunities for the expansion of international trade, and enhance global commodity circulation and improve cultural exchange (Krier, 2001). It is beneficial to the development of integration with the global economy. Emphasizing efficiency in terms of globalization

Joseph Stiglit’s focused on criticizing the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and how globalization makes the rich countries richer and the poor countries poorer. At first, I thought that the book was too technical for a beginner on the subject to understand, but he was able explain well the contents of this book. This book is very informational for people, who are into globalization and economic development. His sharp critiques on globalizations, particularly on the International Monetary Fund (IMF), that was based on his own experiences. In this book, he emphasized the effect of globalization on the Least Developed Countries as well as on the Developed Countries. I chose On Globalization and its Discontent because aside from the striking title of the book, it also the sincere opinions of Joseph Stiglitz. Also, I chose this book aside from it being required, I figured out that this book will be of good help for me in the near future – if I want to pursue this track – with all the information that were given by Stiglitz.
... policies. People will continue to suffer in silence because of the world’s greed. So, while we enjoy our cheaply made goods and over consume the planet into demise, we never know of choose not to know the pain that went into the productions of those goods. Globalization may be championed as a gateway to financial growth for all nations, but only certain nations benefit from it. Global trading and integration has a negative effect on undeveloped nations and developed nations in many ways including; political systems, sovereignty, economy, way of life and much more. Earlier in the essay I asked ‘do the pros outweigh the cons when it comes to globalization’ and from my research I don’t see any real benefit. I don’t believe we should eliminate global business, but better the already lacking regulations and probably increase the standard of living equally for the world.
Globalization is the new notion that has come to rule the world since the nineties of the last century with the end of the cold war. The frontlines of the state with increased reliance on the market economy and renewed belief in the private capital and assets, a process of structural alteration encouraged by the studies and influences of the World Bank and other International organisations have started in many of countries. Also Globalisation has brought in new avenues to developing countries. Greater access to developed country markets and technology transfer hold out promise improved productivity and higher living standard.
Fifty-one countries established the United Nations also known as the UN on October 24, 1945 with the intentions of preserving peace through international cooperation and collective security. Over the years the UN has grown in numbers to include 185 countries, thus making the organization and its family of agencies the largest in an effort to promote world stability. Since 1954 the UN and its organizations have received the Nobel Peace Prize on 5 separate occasions. The first in 1954 awarded to the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Geneva, for its assistance to refugees, and finally in 1988 to the United Nations Peace-keeping Forces, for its peace-keeping operations. As you can see, the United Nations efforts have not gone without notice.

Many negative and positive thoughts have been given to the process of globalization. The proponents of globalization rather see the benefits of globalization, while the opponents have based their opinions on the disadvantages of globalization.
Globalization is one of the main aspects in the 21st century. Globalization has brought the world closer; all the things that are happening nowadays are recognized globally even if they happened locally (Buckley). According to Nayef Al-Rodhan GCSP (Geneva Centre for Security Policy) globalization is not a single word or concept. It contains many other concepts within itself. Globalization is composed of different concepts like incorporation regarding the economics, transmitting information or understandings, stability within beliefs, and other concepts (Al-Rodhan p.3). This paper deals with the definition of Globalization, the advantages and disadvantages of globalization, and based on these information the views that to which extend the globalization is beneficial for majority of the world's population. The concept of globalization has changed the whole shape of the world. It has both its positive and negative impacts on people's life. However, by taking both the advantages and disadvantages into consideration we can find that to a large extend globalization is beneficial for majority of the world's population. With the help of globalization the works that were difficult in past is getting easier in today's environment. People are getting closer to each other, which is a product of globalization. Moreover, the knowledge and informations are being circulated in very good way which is a very good sign for having a good and prosperous life.
