Food truck business in other words To Go Restaurant that is equipped with the necessary instruments to cook and conveniently serve food. As to go with the trend of food truck in Canada we have decided to introduce this trend in London, Ontario. Our speciality of the food truck is presenting International foods that are hard to find in London.

SWOT Analysis

One of our strength in this business is innovative service, which will benefit us in attracting teenagers because of their willingness to experiment new things. Moreover, Generation Y who does not have much time to spare to cook and likes convenient things will likely to be attracted by our accessible service. Our business offers wide variety in international foods, which will outstand our business among others. Moreover, our food truck business offers cheaper price then other restaurants due to inexpensive costs involved in operating the business. According to the Canadian Market research report, fully outfitted food truck can cost upwards of $100,000. However, initial startup costs for a conventional establishment typically ranges between $30,000 and $50,000. Comparing to an actual restaurant set up cost, which is around 500,000 as, mentioned in restaurant owner industry survey, our food truck is far cheaper to set up and operate.

There can be certain weakness while operating the business such as out-dated market research data because out-dated market research does not show current trend going on and the in trend preferences of customers. Our menu is a combination of variety of Asian products as provided below. We have divided our services hour into 2 parts, which are Breakfast and Lunch. Our products theme is based on something light with varieties. We have focused more on snacks then heavy meals in order to match our theme. We have chosen the following food items to our menu in order attract specific ethnics students and to introduce Asian food in London which have not been widely known in Canada.
