How much information would you accept from a test that claims it can tell you all about yourself after you answer a few questions? These online psychological tests state that by taking them we can find out more about ourselves. Intelligence testing and personality assessments could be a way to find out a deeper version of yourself, but they could also be a way to box you into a generalized idea of who you are supposed to be. We should not rely on these tests alone to find a more deeper understanding of ourselves because your character can not be summed up with one phrase or number. These tests are not always 100% accurate and there are better ways to find this information out other than using an online site.
I first took the online personality test and my results stated that I am more introverted than extroverted, more of a thinker than a feeler, judger over perceiver, and had no conclusive preference for sensing or intuition. I was not very surprised at my results because they sounded exactly just like me which is what I expected considering I am the one taking the test. ...m your computer at home. To get a better idea of what your IQ score might be, you should do the test in person with a trained professional. This way you know that the test is valid and being administered properly.
While both of these tests were fun to take they only help paint a small picture of who a person really is. You can not rely on a personality test to tell you exactly what you are going to do in a situation until that situation arises. You also can not solely rely on an IQ test to measure your intelligence and where your future will take you, only you can decide that. Both tests should also not be an indicator on what you want your future career to be. Just because you are labeled as an introvert with a low IQ score does not mean that you can not become a sales person as an adult. If that is what you truly strive to be do not let a label hold you back.
